I had a different order previously, currently:

    1) Who ever said
    2) Quick Escape
    3) Superblood Wolfmoon
    4) Alright
    5) Seven O'clock
    6) DOTC
    7) Buckle Up
    8) Never Destination
    9) Take the long way
    10) River Cross
    11) Comes then goes
    12) Retrograde
    Another update:

    1) Who Ever Said
    2) Superblood Wolfmoon
    3) Seven O'Clock
    4) DOTC
    5) Quick Escape
    6) Alright
    7) Never Destination
    8) River Cross
    9) Buckle Up
    10) Take the Long Way
    11) Comes than goes
    12) Retrograde

Quick escape dropping a little over time, still love it.  Seven o'clock has really grown on me.  Never destination has risen over time, but I think it's about where it will end.  River Cross might continue to move up, but it will have a hard time jumping the songs above it.  Love this album.

Interesting to see Retrograde below Buckle Up.

I don't tend to care much for the acoustic songs but I do like Retrograde....the outro is what does it for me

Ranking and score (out of 10.0)

    1. River Cross (9.8)
    2. Superblood Wolfmoon (9.0)
    3. Quick Escape (8.8)
    4. Seven O'Clock (8.4)
    5. Comes Then Goes (8.0)
    6. DOTC (7.8)
    7. Who Ever Said (7.4)
    8. Retrograde (7.2)
    9. Alright (6.8)
    10. Never Destination (6.0)
    11. Take the Long Way (5.4)
    12. Buckle Up (5.0)

    Total weighted album rating = 7.5 / 10.0

My weighted score seems low. I love this album and would give it much more than 75 / 100 or 3 out of 4 stars. Forget everything I just said. I give the album 8.8 / 10.0 overall as a great straight-through listen and only one song I don't really care for in "Buckle Up," (sorry, Stone).

    Updated Rankings (without scores):

    1) River Cross
    2) Who Ever Said
    3) Superblood Wolfmoon
    4) Seven O'Clock
    5) DOTC
    6) Comes Then Goes
    7) Alright
    8) Quick Escape
    9) Retrograde
    10) Never Destination
    11) Take the Long Way
    12) Buckle Up

But, to be clear, I love them all! Even Buckle Up, which has grown on me!

  • I'm nearly right in line with the last two members, as I feel like Superblood Wolfmoon and River Cross are the two best of many great songs on Gigaton.
  • About 11 months after the album's release, I still like Superblood Wolfmoon and River Cross best on Gigaton. However, the song that has grown on me more than any other is Seven O'clock. I'd say that one's in third place on my list at this point. Gigaton will have real staying power with me. I think I'll continue listening to the new album as much as their five albums from the 1990s, Riot Act, and Lost Dogs.
