Great album, but I'm not sure how someone could listen to the same album daily. There's too much good music out there.

    It's been months
It was months, so I had to fix that, and damn I forgot how good the beginning of this album is.

I've listened to it digitally 3x straight after release. each time it just seemed to get worse and worse, ( I know the haters and the "if PJ played on a tomy kids band set would rave about it ) The LP is still sealed and so is DOTC single it came with and will never be opened or played at all purely because I think the album is chronic.

well, i'm not in the "radiohead level of fandom" of pearl jam. i didn't love backspacer, and didn't like lightning bolt, but love gigaton.

I attribute the frequency of play not so much to the strength of each track but more so to the soundscape, atmosphere, and continuity produced by Josh Evans. I wonder if LB would get more spins had it had similar production.

It's shelved but I'll come around to it again
Listened to it 5-6 times when it first came out last spring, but it has sat on my shelf since. Not bad, but I just have too many other albums, both old and new, that I am more drawn to as of late.

So much amazing new music out there, PJ isn’t even in my weekly rotation. They are my favorite band though, haha!
This. I think it’s a great album and I still listen to it more than any other PJ record, but there is so much other music out there

The lyrics  to d.o.t.c are so profound in this climate. So apt
This whole album was Covid to me. Every fucking song. I know it’s about climate change but it hit home. DotC has a lyrics about being stuck in boxes, windows open no more, Eddie is the fucking clairvoyant

Non-stop for about the first 2 months it was out, then weekly for about the next 2-3 months. Now about once a month but I got through a couple rotations each time.

I listen to it a lot. Maybe every other week. Often I skip Never Destination through to Comes Then Goes

    Weekly
I'm a weekly sometimes daily listener. I loved it from the start and it keeps growing on me.
  • It's shelved but I'll come around to it again
I didn't like the album at all on first listen and then gradually started to like it and listened to it a lot  over the first few months after it came out.  Now I'm back to it not doing anything for me and haven't listened to it in a few months.  I'm curious to hear some of the songs live though.
  • I'll never listen to it in full again
I tried to enjoy it but I and PJ are at different peaks in our lives and am not parallel to them.

I just can’t get into this album. Even the first four tracks which I really enjoyed at first I’m having a hard time listening to. When a Gigaton track comes on PJ Radio I almost always change the channel
