    so it came to light that city and federal employees still had access to their workout/gym facilities, while all privately owned gyms were ordered closed. 

    chief medical officer said "government employees are exempt from some of these restrictions, we just hope that they follow them in spirit". such utter bullshit. 

    they just announced a very modest loosening of restrictions here; now we get to have 2 people visit our homes, however, it has to be the same two people designated for the duration of the order. so we have to choose if we want to see friends, or if we let our kids see their friends, who they see at school every day anyway, or my parents, who would then have to choose between me, my sister, and my brother. 

    this is so fucking dumb. almost all cases are in the poorer areas of town, and up north in the native reserves. 

    and my sister and her son could theoretically visit my wife and two kids and me at our house, but we wouldn't be allowed to go over there. LOL.

    My brother  has 10 people  in his house he and his step sons gf have had the  vaccine  as they work in a care home. But now 2 weeks after 1 dose the girl has covid. And his house of 10 are all in there for 10 days and if anyone  else comes down then another 10 days. My brother has a test everyday at home as rules of his care home. So I'm sitting  at home scared for him. It was me who persuaded  him to get the vaccine  and with  such mixed info on 1 dose being now 33% affective not 89% like we were told by our lying  government.  I will keep everyone up to date as to what happens.
