No Banter_ Just Wembley Arrival Times And Queue Strategy!

I'm gonna turn up any time between 12 and 1. I'm only queueing for the queueing experience with friends really. The queue matters for fuck all apart from the first 3 or so rows, maybe a bit more with all tickets going to 10c members. Unless you want to be at the very front you don't have to queue for long at all.
Since I'm going to 5 shows I want to try out being in different parts of the crowd for different experiences. Wembley is definitely gonna be one of the most competitive for the front row, so I'll steer well clear. Was front centre at the Dublin show, so I don't really care where I end up after that.Paul

Didnt read the whole thread, but lists have been made in the past and that works.
Did you guys mention this yet? I liked that system, it works"I surfaced and all of my being was enlightened"0 -
I'm sure this has been asked before but how many of us ten clubbers gonna be standing???? 3000-4000 maybe???London 1996 Cardiff 2000 Paris 2006 and London 2007.0

I think, judging by the photos I've seen that standing is about 3000. Similar to the size of Dublin. Venues always look bigger on photos than when you get there in the flesh so maybe smaller.
I'm not sure of our queueing strategy now. Was going to pick up tickets at 12ish and then head off but it looks like there could be a sizable queue just to do that at 12 o'clock.
I'd really like to see the Star Wars exhibition that day too so maybe will go there first and then pick up the tickets later when all the early birds have gone and got theirsA democracy on paper, apparently well ordered, regularly subverted by irrational chaos.

I'm not standing in line.
I decided to take a ticket that's not on the floor so I can see without spending the whole day in a queue!&&&&&&&&&&&&&&0 -

Reading this brings good memories of pulling all nighters at the entrance in the early years to make sure you were all the way in the front....! ahhh! the good days
This thread made me smile"Without the album covers, where do you clean your pot?" - EV0 -
I hope I'm next to some kind 10 clubbers who'll save my spot when I have to go get my wristbands0

This might be a stupid question but what do you guys do if you need to go to the loo as you invariably will need to do if you're drinking beers and queueing all day???Dublin - August 23rd 2006
Wembley - June 18th 2007
Hopefully many more to come...0 -

I made sure i went to the loo multiple times before getting into the venues last year, that way i didn't have to leave my spot.
It may be hard in Nijmegen with 3 opening acts AND Pearl Jam.20-04-2006 04-09-2006 05-09-2006 11-09-2006 16-09-2006 17-09-2006 18-06-2007 21-06-2007 26-06-2007 28-06-2007 17-08-2009 20-05-2010 21-05-2010

well as most 10clubbers are bringing someone to use the second ticket then surely the 2nd person will just keep their place in the queue whilst the other goes to the toilet.
i just dump on the pavementoh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.0 -

I'll be there fairly early for queing fun - that was my favourite bit of last years jaunt round Italy, sitting around, chatting, putting the world to rights, getting sunburnt and making paper hats
Will probably be on my own for the first few hours while the missus has a lie in and sleeps off the beer - one day I'll work out how she wrangles the good jobs...London Doesn't Call Anymore... (rip joe)
Yes, I have been to some Pearl Jam concerts. Several of them.0 -

get friendly with your neighbours... everyone will get to know who's in front/behind as the day wears on, and everyone pretty much looks out for each other - just let people around you know if your disapearing somewhere for five/ten mins and you'll be fine
