I was just wondering that about the 10club seats.. where they would be n stuff, and would i still end up at the back because of 10club priority and such stuff.

I think 'cause 10c have most people standing ... they only have one small seating section ... in the best seats ... so you should see perfectly :D

Hello ... long time no see ... and congrats :)
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

I would have thought the seated tix would be in the area reserved for the travel pack tix? If so, those are great seats (first 5 rows of S6)... Did you ask 10C?

ooOoo London Jam... lots of bantering... but hey... we don't care because YOUR bantering in a previous thread has put you in the doghouse! So.. for your sake, I would be waaaaaaaaaaaay in the back of the queue, if I were you! :D

the actual premise of this thread is both disturbing and hilarious... i mean think about it... its fucked up
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

They haven't stated where EXACTLY, but here's hoping :)
Thats part of the email I got the other day.
"3) You will receive 2 reserved seated tickets. Seat location is
pre-determined and will not be based upon seniority. Reserved seats will be located in a side section, closest to the stage"

Don't like pretzels, but I guess vodka would be a start on your path to redemption...

I really hope there isn't a second barrier.....it ruined the Dublin experience.

I doubt that there will be one if there isn't usually one at Wembley. Dublin is the only venue of of that size that I've ever seen with two barriers.....I can understand it at huge shows but you're only talking about a standing section as big as some smaller venues so I think it'd be an unnecessary measure.

I'll be aiming to pick my tickets up around 12ish and then head off for a few hours before returning around doors opening time.

I couldn't care less about being near the front....I've always found gigs way more enjoyable a bit further back, off to one side so you can have a decent view and room to move a bit. I hate spending the first 3 somgs not paying attention to the band cos I'm worried about getting my legs broken.

That sums up my feelings perfectly. I got to be front row last year twice and not bothered anymore. Further back is more fun because you can actually breathe!

I saw Killers there when they had the full floor open to standing. Trust me.. half of it available is not that big. However, the stage is very wide... or at least the floor is very wide... so u can be right at the front but still a long way from the band... if u get my meaning lol

Now that the arrival strategy part has pretty much been set aside, what are people's strategy for getting outta there after the show?

Well I have the next day off work so im hoping it involves falling out of there a sweaty, happy mess and landing straight in a late license bar/pub/illegal stoppy back/club somewhere... let me see... north west london...monday night...11.30pm....

    Not looking too hot.

actually I believe last year it was 300 TICKETS, i.e. 150 pairs.
that's what I heard and it certainly fit with the queues I remember, no way there was 600.
so it's 8 time more, which is why they start 6 hours before opening rather than 2 .

Fair enough, I wasn't sure if it was 300 tickets or 300 pairs. You were in more 10c queues than me, so i'll take your word for it . ;)

ahhh at last someone who's on the same wavelength as i am!

i think this is what i'm doing also Jim... i was up real close at The Astoria and it was mental... brilliant mental... i then just gave up about 3/4 of the way through.. stood at Stone's side and had a brilliant view, was never bumped, shoved or anything... and the view was brilliant.

just pick up the tickets whenever, go to the pub, then turn up whenever and enjoy the show

little people can always be pushed out of the way if you need to get to the front:)

Well said that man! It'll be pick up the tickets (hopefully when its a bit quieter), back to the hotel bar for afternoon beers, then back for the gig in time to see the support (i quite like Idlewild!) :)
