No dilema for me. I won't be lining up early as I will be stood at the back since my wife will be 6 months pregnant! :) Hey, at least I can go for a couple of beers before the show instead of queing for hours :D
they do beers in cans you know ;)
That all makes sense, i'm glad there'll be a second barrier in Nijmegen otherwise the surge forward will be huge. Personally, i like the T barrier though. Just like having something to hold onto in the crowd.
I should have stressed the word believe..I've no inside info, so I might be wrong..but I think it'd be dangerous if there wasn't. Even more so in Katowice with the Polish Linkin Park fans

True! I guess even if you are lining up from 'God know's what time', there won't be a lack of beer! ;)

    No, that's 1250 pairs.

Four times the work of a normal gig. There are normally 300 10c pairs per show, which makes 600 people.
Oh come on, it was late and I wasn't thinking straight 'cos of the football...

but yeah, you wouldn't have thought I got a B at GCSE maths now would you? Terrible mistake

queuing freaks... its a rock concert not a Russian bread line

    i'll be there at 5pmish :)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

I've just realised that my ticket is under my married name, but my photo ID is still in my maiden name - will this cause a problem do you think?
Also, does anyone know what time the 10c distribution box will stay open til as I'm not currently planning on getting into London til around 4pm.

yeah, that's going to be a problem.
email/call 10c to tell them about it and I'm sure they'll sort it out.
distribution should be open until the gig starts I'd think.

yes... i think it might :o

i'd email 10club now and inform them of it and maybe bring a photocopy of the marriage certificate... overkill i know, but I'd rather be safe about it

Definitely a good idea... I completely forgot about that for the Dublin queue last year... and had to nick other peoples food :o

Anyone know if there are shops in the area? There was nothing nearby in Dublin which was a problem.

Its a shitty area of town... no shops near where you line up. A few near the tube station. If you need booze then get it well before...

By the way - head towards the stadium from the tube... u cant miss it.,... its HUGE!!!!!! (Wembley Arena not so much )

I used to be able to see the arch from my old work, which was 6 miles away! Beautiful stadium.

There isn't much in the vicinity of the arena, so early birds (not unlike myself) are advised to bring something rather than look around.

I swapped my 10c standing for 10c seating, just emailed 10club and explained .. that I had just discovered I was pregnant and would be 6mths pregnant by the time the show was on so standing in the madness was a no no :D
Can't wait to see how the little lunatic in here reacts when the show starts :D

    Hiya missus,
Nope I wasnt the last time :D I just pulled a serious whitey and spent all of the dublin gig in the first aid area at the back of the stage on a trolley with an oxegen mask on my face , hyperventilating and going into muscle spasm.
Was a bit horrific. Was gutted over missing practically the whole damn show.
Made up for it at Reading though ;) when arrived into the gig during Placebo, waited for the break between Placebo and PJ and then trawled our way through all them punters to make our way to the front.
And we made it .. sure we were up beside some of you - have a pic of byrnzie up there actually.
