I can't imagine having to even stop myself from saying that word in any setting...let alone almost saying it on national tv.

As an Aussie who is a keen NFL observer (albeit a novice) I do love Romo and Nantz. Don’t mind Buck and Aikman either. But Romo is my favourite.

Thoughts on Tom Brady an announcer? I have yet to hear him, but most people seem to think he's doing a good job.

He was OK. Definitely some room for improvement, but understandable first time out he wasn't awesome.
I think he'll settle in and be fine, but probably not really be deserving of being the top paid analyst. Some are just better at it. Aikman is better, (the only thing Aikman will ever be better than Brady at).

I thought he was OK.  You can tell he was nervous (which makes me want to root for him, actually)...  He seemed to be way too careful, and trying to nail every point and every word pronounced perfectly.  It made him sound robotic.  Its much like how he was QB.

Hopefully someone can coach him up and get him to loosen up, have a good time, and enjoy the game and describing what is happening.  Unlike being a QB, he has room to make a couple mistakes, flub some words, fall flat on a joke, and it'll be just fine (as long as he doesn't drop an N bomb or anything like that).

Just getting around to complaining about this.

Red Zone is absolutely over the top with their split screens. They literally pull away from a full screen right when the center is snapping the ball. Once there were four games on the screen. One game had action and the other three were guys walking around on the sidelines. Apparently it's time to upgrade my TV because I can't make out what's going on with one quarter of my 47" screen.

Damn, had same experience and thought.  Fucking small breakout screens are not cool
