Just getting around to complaining about this.

Red Zone is absolutely over the top with their split screens. They literally pull away from a full screen right when the center is snapping the ball. Once there were four games on the screen. One game had action and the other three were guys walking around on the sidelines. Apparently it's time to upgrade my TV because I can't make out what's going on with one quarter of my 47" screen.
unfortunately, 47” is now the kind of TV you put in your bathroom or garage.
If I had known then what I know now...

Have no problem dropping obsence amount on dinners but seem to resent spending on TVs.
Not sure why.  I should have 100 inch screens in both rooms that now have a 50 something and 60 something.
(Can't see those 4 screen red zone games!)

It looks great if they don’t plop it into less than a quarter of the screen.

Watching the Rams/Cardinals game on NFL network, there’s something about Rich Eisen that is just annoying. Maybe it’s his demeanor or his voice kinda gets on my nerves.

He should not be doing play by play. Good studio host, but I don't get making him do that.

Eisen is fine for the handful of basic cable games he calls a year. He is easy to avoid if you want . There are far worse moves by networks.

FOX appointing Brady to the #1 analyst role with zero experience? The world did not used to be this way. Even the best ever, John Madden had to work his way up with CBS.

Sure Brady has knowledge, but his voice, cadence and delivery are mediocre at best. In the old days, we used to get the top analysts on the top broadcasts. Today, if you are a star QB, you get handed the top gig. As if fans wouldnt know to watch the games without the star QB as the analyst.

Didn't ABC start this trend in 1970 with Don Meredith though?
