    If I remember correctly, four years ago when I - and a lot of other people - didn't like the idea of this dipshit being president we protested. It was called the Women's March. It had unprecedented turnout across the country, actually. And not one of us stormed the insides of the Capitol.

    I’m tired of extremists sabotaging every issue and ideology under the sun...same as black people were pissed at a bunch of white “BLM supporters” tearing up their neighborhoods.

    Not saying this is what you're doing but I've seen a lot of people try to compare today to what we saw last summer. Problem is that most of the protests last summer were peaceful. It was the anarchists who came out in the evening that caused the riots and violence etc etc etc. Maybe antifa? Maybe proud boys dressed up as antifa? Maybe other shady groups? There were conflicting reports all year long, but they were not the folks peacefully protesting during the day time. 

    In contrast: today, we have domestic terrorists hijacking the capital building all in the name of one, Donald J Trump....even says so on all their dumb flags. 

    It's all wrong, but the one main difference is the extremists today are doing this at the behest of the fucking president, who should be removed from office asap.

    I agree, 100%.  And I hope Biden is able to call out his emboldened extremists once he is in office.  My worry is that this behavior trends, regardless of what the cause is.  Yes, “people on both sides” (I said it). need to grow the fuck up and act with a grain of sanity when they are angry...less this trend becomes “trendier” (is that a word? Ha).  
    I, for one, do not feel empowered by either of these “sides” of the political spectrum these days.
    There are liberal “causes” and conservative “causes” I agree with and disagree with...Where does that leave me?  Exactly...nowhere in today’s extremist climate.

    No. My point was the folks causing damage last summer were NOT Biden supporters. Either way, Biden forcefully condemned it multiple times last year.

    Today, these terrorists are CLEARLY Donald Trump supporters. We know that because they wore their fucking Donald Trump uniforms and flew their god awful Donald Trump Rambo flags.
