Mercifully the 49ers season is over. I have never seen a season like that where injuries took such a toll. Even the back ups and third stringers were missing large amounts of time.0

Yep. Now how do we convince Kyle to move on from Jimmy? The love he receives is the love that is saved0

The only way I see it happening is if he can get a quarterback with mobility that can still make throws, like Mahomes. Who along with Watson were available to draft when they had Brian Hoyer at QB.......and drafted CJ. At least we got Thomas!F Me In The Brain said:Yep. Yeah, that is painful to recall! The love he receives is the love that is saved0

I don't think very many people had an idea that Mahomes would be so good so soon, but most people, except Kyle I guess, seemed to realize that Hoyer was wasn't going to do a whole lot. I understand that he wanted to get his program up and running with a veteran QB, but still. I am good with rolling with Jimmy next year, but with his injury history, it would be smart to find someone to develop for the future and provide a competent back up should another injury occur.F Me In The Brain said:Yeah, that is painful to recall!Post edited by JeBurkhardt on0 -

I was fine with it last night, but seeing Giants fans overreact to it today has made me love the decision even more. Lolmcgruff10 said:

my biggest issue with it is that these are the kind of things that precipitate calls for a draft lottery, which, IMO will suck.0

Absolutely. They should be banned from the nfl until vault 1 is released on vinyl.Halifax2TheMax said:

Funny that people are using this as the opportunity to complain.Nobody complained that Pittsburgh decided to tank yesterday and let Cleveland into the playoffs....although Cleveland sure tried to mess it up. Would the Dolphins have made the playoffs if Cleveland lost? How about people in SD being pissed that the Chiefs gave up the game yesterday and saw the Chargers win, setting them back a bunch of picks.

Tanking sucks and those fans definitely are within their right to complain. although resting your starters the week before a playoff game is totally different than what the eagles did yesterday.F Me In The Brain said:Funny that people are using this as the opportunity to complain.Nobody complained that Pittsburgh decided to tank yesterday and let Cleveland into the playoffs....although Cleveland sure tried to mess it up. It was pretty freaking blatant. How does a coach move forward with his team after that performance? I know I would have lost all respect for him if I was playing.F Me In The Brain said:mcgruff10 said:

He planned to play that QB before. Guessing if the team was gonna be pissed they would have been pissed when he decided to scratch Prince Harry and dress Nate Shitfeld instead.mcgruff10 said:

Optics are bad for him and for the NFL but I don't think his players will care. Their cash still spends the same and they just won the bowl three years ago
If they were ok with the crazy decisions he made all year they are probably fine today. The love he receives is the love that is saved0
