    When I moved to Los Angeles I wanted to root for one local pro team and decided to throw out the Boston Bruins for the Kings.  The majority of the time I have been a Kings fan they have been awful.  Looking forward to being good again!

    Lakers bandwagon fans are awful.  Standard Lakers fans are fine but the number of people who would claim to be huge fans when Kobe and Shaq were awesome was beyond annoying.
    For Hockey I stopped watching the Islanders after they traded Kasparitus.  I saw them lose Lafontaine too.  They have come around big time recently but I haven't thrown my hat back in that ring yet...

    I first became a Lakers fan with showtime in the 80's.

    Yeah we've discussed this before.  I'm a sports fan first.  I've got zero hometown loyalty because I moved around so much. I chose to root for different teams for different reasons.  I'm not a homer at least.

    Basketball  UNC but I don't care as much since the 1 and done era.  It's hard to be excited about a team thats a different roster every year.
