so I put all the spare bulbs that came with each string of lights in a small plastic zip-lock bag so that I knew exactly where all the spares would be and I could easily locate them in case I had to change out a burned out bulb.

I have no idea where that bag is, or any spares.

Not only did I remember where I put the spare bulbs...
I also remembered where I put the little fuses, that go in to all the silly chords.

But I forgot to secure Santa, and he tumbled down the stairs.

Chili pepper lights on the mantle, along with the jack-o-lantern, both of which have become year-round decorations:

Has anybody driven past Speedy's house to check out those lights?

A certain rambunctious kitty tore down some of ours. What’s left looks pitiful.

Tis the season!  My neighbor once told me, “I like your lights, but I did buy some blackout curtains for my bedroom”.

We had a crazy, unusual amount of snow here.  It sure makes the lights (that are visible) pretty.
