  • Hail, Hail - Columbia, MD 1998.

Called the opener and was euphoric.  Don't really remember the most of the remaining show.  Kick myself for not getting to Constitution Hall the next day.

Whenever I missed out on a historic show lately I'm taking the perspective of maybe if I went I could have died in a car crash or something weird. Takes the sting away from missing pj opening for the rhcp for me.

I'm embarrassed now.   Oceans was a small white whale for me for a long time.    Lollapalooza was so long ago.   Turns out it was the very first PJ song I'd ever heard live.

Don't be embarrassed. If we don't remember hearing a song does it really matter that we did close to 30 years ago? I haven't heard Garden since 1994 and I am always hoping it turns up on a setlist for that reason.

i have a very similar "embarrassing" PJ story: St Paul 2014, Pendulum to start the show, then they start into Release....I well up with emotion, my body is awash in this feeling....my subconscious knew what my conscious mind did not...I had never heard Release live before. I always thought I only needed Oceans to complete Ten, but it wasn't the case, I had never heard Release before. I cried.

RVM, Louisville 1994. After sitting on the floor of the Louisville Gardens for a few hours waiting for the show to start, the rising of human heat is a sensation that I will never forget.
