    My feelings are very similar.  I never have been on Facebook but my wife lives on that garbage.  She questions everything, now, but go back 5+ years ago?  Nope. 
    I mean I'm on it, but I can't process how anyone would use it as their main source for informing and educating themselves.

    My in-laws are fucking mouth breathing jesus freaks. Once had an 80 year old uncle-in-law (I guess that's what you would call him) say, I shit you not, "It's true. It's on Google." So, yeah, the future is bleak. Or I shouldn't say that, but it's gonna be a fucking bumpy road until all these technologically illiterate people are gone.

    I’m on a project my last as a government contractor.  Working with two engineers that are buying all of the bs, hacked machines, fraudulent ballots etc.  they are saying let the courts and investigators decide etc.  hopefully orangey gets a mcstroke from all the cheeseburgers and chicken.

    Law firm representing Trump campaign in Pennsylvania pulls out of case

    A law firm representing Trump in his attempt to challenge the election count in Pennsylvania has withdrawn from the case.

    Porter Wright Morris & Arthur said in a court motion filed late Thursday that attorneys Ronald L. Hicks Jr. and Carolyn B. McGee would no longer be representing Trump’s campaign in the case.

    “Plaintiffs and Porter Wright have reached a mutual agreement that Plaintiffs will be best served if Porter Wright withdraws,” the attorneys said in their motion.

    The firm said Trump’s campaign was “in the process of retaining” other attorneys to represent it. Linda A. Kerns, a Philadelphia attorney who is representing Trump in a flurry of lawsuits in the state’s courts, will remain on the case.

    Several law firms representing Trump in his efforts to undermine the result in battleground states have come under pressure to drop the president as a client.

    Trump’s federal lawsuit in Pennsylvania seeks an emergency injunction preventing state authorities from certifying the state’s election results. It alleges that hundreds of thousands of votes cast in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh are invalid because Trump’s campaign was unable to observe them being counted, which election officials deny.

    Commonwealth Secretary Kathy Boockvar on Thursday asked the court to dismiss what she called Trump’s “desperate and unfounded attempt to interfere” with the election process.

    “The voters of Pennsylvania have spoken,” attorneys for Boockvar said in a court filing.

    If you unfollow everyone that annoys you your feed will just be what you want to see.  For me it is nice to log on and just see news.  If a "friend" posts too many pictures of themselves, their lunch, tries to sell Beachbody, etc., they get unfollowed and I don't ever have to see their bullshit again.

    For sure, but this isn't really what I'm getting at - also, it kinda is part of the problem, too, because then your network can become as self-affirming and filled with whatever confirmation bias that you want that way.

    I read a report (I think it was Gallup?) that says those with more of a liberal-leaning will have a more diverse feed of opinion and worldviews in their social media feeds as opposed to conservative-leaning users. Though, with that said, I definitely unfollow friends and family that are just too much, haha. It's a kinder thing to do (in a weird social network way) than just unfriending.

    Democratic judges are shutting them down. Even if they are not Dem judges the news they watch is saying it is and they believe it. There is always something they can pivot too to stay protected with reality.
