All the talk about what Bryson would do on 13 and he double bogeys it.  LOL.  But according to him the course is only a par 67 for him.  He's the worst.
I tried to hate Bryson, but I don't.  Seems like a good enough guy in interviews.  Hate Patrick Reed though.  That's easy to do.
Nah...Bryson is fake good guy.  That due is a complete asshole to everyone in his life...100%

More than Patrick?  Did you ever read the stories about he has cut off his family because they didn't want him to get married too young?  Just completely ignore them now, going so far as having them removed from a tournament by security.
I don't know about more.  I have read the stuff on his family and it's shitty.  His wife seems like real scum.  At least he's not fake about it though.  Everyone knows he's an asshole.

I've not rooted for Bryson but haven't actively shit on him.  Now you've changed my mind.

Of the new guys, I like Rahm and Woff the most.  I like Xander but don't really like JT.  Jason Day all the way though.

Guy who installed my shutters today met Bryson last year. His dad is friends with someone at Bryson's agent's company. Pretty much confirmed the fake good guy persona.

Anyway.....ESPN+ for the win again. Fucking brilliant coverage. I even like Michelle Wie.

I'd love access to some Masters merch.  Struck out on the lottery once again.  I read today that Bryson is planning on putting a 48 inch driver in the bag for Augusta with hopes of reaching an average club head speed of 200 mph.  This dude is changing the game.
    Fuck him.

    A month away!

    no.....fuck you-know-who.
Who? The guy who's 4 under and 3 back?

Hell of a first round for the greatest golfer in the history of the game...

How the hell is it not as dark in Georgia as it is in PA right now?

It's because of how south Georgia is,  more than west.

Yeah. Well even Pittsburgh's sunset is 20 minutes later than Philly's today though. I guess I'm just oblivious to geography. haha

Featured groups on ESPN+ were great.  The Masters app is even better.  Can watch Amen corner, 4-6 and 15-16. You can also create your own group of players that you want to watch and they show every shot from those players.  Some good options when there isn't coverage going on main ESPN.  Pretty wild that a place as old school as Augusta has all this crazy technology going.

I'm all in on the Masters this weekend. Great to see the GOAT back at Augusta!

I saw Amen Corner and those other things as options from ESPN+ as well

A cappuccino and the masters on a shitty NE fall morning...along with a 2 hour conference call.

How the hell does Rory miss that shot on 16 by that much?

Crazy to see him struggling like that.  That shot wasn't even close.

It's crazy how different it is to watch the Masters without the crowds.  There's no doubt it is affecting the players as well.  Many of these guys feed off of that energy and there's no way to replicate it.  Hope to see seas of patrons at next year's event again.  The Masters is definitely my favorite sporting event of the entire year (Cubs WS or Bears Super Bowl aside).

And Bryson becomes a bigger douche every time I watch him.

    John Prine...Wright Thompson...Masters.  It's pretty much porn.

I have said this a number of times this year, but I am actually really digging the lack of people on some of these really nice courses this year.  You get the see the course like we would see it playing.

Obviously looking forward to the energy being back, but it's kinda neat to see Augusta the way it was designed.

I do too.  And why TF aren't my courses bereft of leaves like Augusta??  I played on Wed and lost three balls on the first cut of rough.

Bears Super Bowl....you're a friggin comedian!

I do agree though...the Masters is fantastic to watch. In our region at that time of year, it is a reminder that the seasonal change is just around the corner. Every year it really gives me that itch to get out and play asap. But the conditions are usually to cold and/or wet.

If anything, I think the lack of fans hurts (or will hurt) Tiger more than anyone. If it's the weekend at Augusta and you're within a couple groups of Tiger and those crowds get loud....there is NO way it doesn't get into your head. Couple that with the fact that Tiger thrives with that noise. Hoping for a hell of a weekend either way.

lol...pretty sure Augusta has a crew of people roaming to pick up any stray leaf.

Agreed with some of the comments above.  It is definitely cool to see parts of these courses you wouldn't get to see otherwise.  But man, there is nothing like the roars at Augusta.  I get pumped up just hearing them on my couch at home.  Can't imagine being a player.

As for leaves, they suck.  That's the only part of Fall golf I don't enjoy.  Hoping for an exciting Sunday finish.

Agreed.  I haven't missed the crowds as much as I thought I would.  Definitely weird for the masters but for a bunch of these regular tournaments it's pretty nice not to listen to a bunch of jerkoffs yelling stupid shit after every tee shot.

Definitely don't miss "GET IN THE HOLE"

So the guys that have to play 27 straight holes seem to have a bit of an advantage? They're playing well and get a softer course.  Tiger and the guys from yesterday could be a ways back when they tee off.
