    They have that shape, but it's not the battle flag. To be honest, I don't know whether it's derivative of the confederate flag or not.

    So, Georgia was using it and dumped it for some weird flag that included the history of flags across the bottom (one of which had the battle flag) so it was on there in tiny form. Like they just couldn't let it go.  Well eventually, they turned it into the current flag. It was kind of an "own the libs" move.

    Actually that bottom page discusses a few states with flags that look like the could be derivative of a confederate flag. It seems to feel that Alabama, Florida, Arkansas, and Georgia have at least some confederate inspiration. (And Mississippi, which is now going to be defunct). It mentions NC using a design that's similar to what it used when it seceded and that Tennessee's despite its colors likely is not inspired by any confederate flag.

    I wonder if there will be rouge-Republicans 30 years from now that reference or quote Trump like in the same manner current Republicans reference or quote Reagan. I remember in 2016, every other word out of Rubio and Cruz's mouth was "Reagan."
