Yeah i look like Eddie Vedder... I didn't get a Lifewasted badge.. did you have one EK?

No Life Wasted badge but I bought some Pearl Jam badges. I wore the Eddie badge for a while at Sydney 1 but had to remove it because of the "mosh pit" where I was in the 14th row.

    Security was insane!!!
I reckon it was about 2 steps away from being a case of sexual assault.

Newcastle was the worst. They wouldn't let me in with the inflatable beach ball i bought so I had to smuggle it in down my pants. It was humid as hell that day and the plastic gave me major chafing :(
Collecting 10club tickets was ridiculous at Newie.... One at a time into a massive blocked off room... too funny

And the security over the 3 nights of Sydney changed...

Sydney #1- chewy confiscated, think i got a metal detector scan. Drinks checked at door to make sure they weren't alcohol... had to get smart to get grog in heh... cross on ticket and my arm!
Sydney #2- rubber glove cavity search.. kidding! Not even an attempt to empty my pockets like the night before. No attempt to search drink up top in the oxygen lacking seat i had.
Sydney #3- No care in the world.. in you go... Could take grog in no worries... was a saturday though i guess.

Yeah I know you've got a better 10C number than I have so stop bragging.
    I only joined in 2004.
    Hey....... it was funny! :)

Hey I remember that now. I was frisked by a female my own age then had to show her what was in my bag. I had a camera hidden under some tissues. She said the camera is okay but you'll have to throw out your packet of chewing gum because it can be used as a missile. I remember thinking how stupid because I had a purse full of makeup, eg. lippy, mascara, powder compact etc. which would hurt a lot more than a chewing gum packet!

And then at Sydney 3 some old guy was there and just had a quick look in my bag and then said "go through love".

Really? There was no one at the window when I got my 10c tks about half way thru KOL - took 10 secs. Same as Syd. Mind you I always pick my tiks up at the last minute to avoid the rush so that probably explains it

I wouldn't know. I went to the window where there was no lineup. What was it called again? Oh I remember. The complimentary ticket window ;)
Saved myself $200 that night :)

Oh yeah you got free tickets as a guest heh... cool.. I was just thinking.. no i dont remember seeing that sign :)

There was no lineup, yet still my gf and I were the only ones allowed in heh.. we were there very early.. before the outside "bar" opened. I think the comp window was in the same room as tenclub tickets come to think of it! :)

You what?! half way thru... you missed out on KOL :) although they started early.. i missed a little bit of first song... then the journey down toward the front wit hthe security saying "not yet .. keep going down..." heh love that feeling! (okay no jokes about me giving security a blowie!)

Yeah it was. We rocked up about 2.30 but we were told we couldn't pick up our tix till 6.30 :(

I love the Newie Ent Cent. Only at this place can you stand outside and hear what's going on inside clear as day :)
Was amazing to hear In My Tree, Throw Your Hatred Down and Fatal x3 in soundcheck :D

Hey Country boy - there's 50 bars within about 2 blocks so we got a plethora to choose from. We'll go somewhere near Wynyard/The Rocks so you are only 200mtrs or less from the hotel.
Only prob is I GOTTA be back in the office at 7.55 for an online school thing. Thank God I dont have to talk/slur for it - just listen. What time do you need to leave for the concert?
Ill buzz ya around 4 and head down right on 5 or a little before

I'll probably head off around 7.15 - 7.30. That should give you enough time to get back to school ;)

I wouldn't be surprised. They supposedly recorded about 40 songs for Avocado
