I'M ALIVE!!!! I'M ALIIIIVE!!!
Man....I was sooo SICK yesterday. Eskimo Joe was a blinder. Can't remember fuck all! But I had sooooo much fun.
Started off at home with a few beers then 5 Jager shots in a row (first time I've ever had them!). WOO HOO!!! Then we left for the concert and I proceeded to drink WAAAY too many VBs all night long...then hooked into some vodka and oranges!
Didn't make it to work yesterday. Couldn't move. Was still spewing at 7 o'clock last night! ha ha Leigh, myself and my two best mates Pete and Scott all have memory loss - I'm blaming the Jager.
But today I'm feeling much better -- except for a sore stomach.★ 1995 - Brisbane ★ 1998 - Brisbane ★ 2003 - Brisbane ★ 2006 - Brisbane ★

Do you not remember me telling you how close to death I was after the bazillion Jager Shots I had at one of our Staff Parties?? Sus, Jager is the devil..... although I am quite proud of you. And yes, with the Jager being medicinal, if was most definitely the reason behind your memory loss.
No Anal leakage for you though? It does cause that tooisnt that just lovely?....:p

I was thinking about you yesterday when I was sick -- about how sick you were etc from Jager! Jager is good stuff! Got me happy very quickly. By the time we got out of the taxi, we were all in VERY VERY good spirits!
So Jager WAS the reason we all have blank spots throughout the night! Leigh said "can you remember leaning on the fire door and setting off the alarm??" I'm like "aahhhh, not at all!!!"I had so much fun though. I love getting blind like that. Haven't been that pissed in probably 18 months or so. And nooo, I didn't have anal leakage! Thank fucking goodness!
I'm having a month off drinking now. My poor body was so poisoned. It needs a break. I drink waaaay too much and too regularly.
Sooooo, I'm just going to become a pothead again!Woo hoo!

I'm glad I didn't wake up with a sore bum! Leigh would have been getting a mouthful! WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU TRYING LAST NIGHT????

Yes.. Jager is a whole lot of fun.... but as I have learnt in previous "drunken as close to death as I could have been" binges, Jager shots will finish after number 2... or 3.... thats it!
I feel so bad for the dude that bought the Ames fakes on Ebay..... poor bugga. Its ok for me when I bought fakes cos I knew they werent the real deal and liked them, and my seller was upfront about them....
but when you fork out $400 on posters that are a simple copy..... that fuckin suks.he who forgets will be destined to remember0 -

I was just reading that thread, poor guy.
P.S. i've never had Jager.condescending and sarcastic since 19800 -

Well I hadn't either until Thursday night. Our 5 shots each put us all in a GREAT mood....the 50 more beers after the jager may not have been the wisest choice though!
Just don't ask me how Eskimo Joe were -- I was too busy laughing my head off at the very back of the venue! My mate Pete can't even remember seeing Eskimo Joe on stage at all! He has total memory loss from the finish of Little Birdy to the end of the night! ha ha Ahhhh, good birthday memories!★ 1995 - Brisbane ★ 1998 - Brisbane ★ 2003 - Brisbane ★ 2006 - Brisbane ★

sounds like the best way to see Eskimo Joe, man i hate them. But little birdy are fucking great live, there is something about Katie Steele, i have a mad crush on her!condescending and sarcastic since 19800 -
eskimo joe would be much better if they didn't turn to crap... if they still played songs like sweater, and that style of music they would be much more enjoyable....
Tig, sounds good with the new songs, the last set was impressive also.. will see you there!0 -

GREAT CALL!
sweater is a kick arse song, me and my mate saw eskimo joe before their other crap album came out, the one before black fingernails. but any way we saw them for free at the zoo, which is more then i would pay to see then, but we yelled "Sweater!" and i kid you not their response was "We don't play that crap any more" and carried on as if they are above playing it and made a few other comments i can't recall but they basically thought they were better then that, it's as if we asked them to play like a wiggles song or something, they acted like complete Jackarses.condescending and sarcastic since 19800 -

Im not an Eskimo Joe fan.... but I have to say imo that i prefer their music these days to the old skool "i would never.... wear your sweater" !!
and Sam.... their playing Leash for me!!!
EDIT : I should make up a "Play Leash you Pussies" Sign!he who forgets will be destined to remember0 -
Esky Mojo do sound a lot like an 1980s band but I think I like them..

As for Sweater.. yeah they didn't play it.. They DID play some song that must have been a hit single whilst i wasnt in Australia... around the time of Australian Idol with Shannon Noll, which when i got back didnt know who the fuck Shin Noll was... sadly i do now
Anyone know the Esky Mojo song i'm talking about?!0 -
I really liked A Song is a City. This new album isn't anywhere near as good.
And I thought they were really boring on stage. They sounded alright. And that's all I remember.
Leigh was pretty disappointed. Thought they were quite boring.★ 1995 - Brisbane ★ 1998 - Brisbane ★ 2003 - Brisbane ★ 2006 - Brisbane ★
