Yup. Besides the ones we are waiting on, it's the only single I do not have. Square Records in Akron had a collection turned in. I believe I bought 13 from them. A friend worked there. He was keeping an eye out for me. No 91 though. My husband has chipped away at getting the others they didn't have. eBay, Discogs and The Exchange for those.mickeyrat said:deadendp said:
You could chip away at that wall for me. Looking for a '91 single.mickeyrat said:

Used Kids! Gotta be in the mood to bin dig when you get there, especially if you are looking for old stuff. I have spent a lot of time sitting on the floor there. One day I'll dig through the 45 wall. I think I'll have to eat and have a lot of caffeine first. My husband just told me that it is his favorite. (Though he has pretty good luck at Magnolia.) We definitely set aside a chunk of time when we visit Used Kids.mickeyrat said:
I'm a few hours north. Haven't been down to Columbus in well over a year. COVID crushed some traveling stuff.

reminds me of when Rerun, from What's Happening, was recording the Doobie Brothers for some sketchy dudes and his tape deck fell out of his overcoat. Those Doobies were mad. I miss that show...0

I can’t get enough Rage. I think the fact Nov 3rd is on the horizon is a motivator.

I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.0 -
Picked up Albert King plays the king from VMP.
Didn't realize it was a damn Elvis cover... Would have preferred some of his OG stuff but oh well.0 -
Next time, you’ll read the details, tracklist, etc. Right?tempo_n_groove said:Picked up Albert King plays the king from VMP.

I just picked this up on the weekend. It was created for the 40th Anniversary of the Calgary Folk Festival and featured a bunch of Alberta performers covering songs and artists that have appeared at the folk fest over its 40 year history. It was all recorded
in Calgary at Studio Bell. One cool side note - The Rolling Stones’ mobile studio from 1968 was acquired by Studio Bell and is installed there right now. It has recorded some ICONIC albums - Sticky Fingers, Exile on Mainstreet, Zeppelin 3&4, Neil Young’s Harvest, Deep Purples’ Machine Head and Burn to name a few. Super cool!! The playlist for Cover Art is on Spotify if anyone wants to check it out!! 0 -
That is cool. If I'm not mistaken, that's the studio that Deep Purple used, leading to Smoke on the Water, after the original studio burned down by "some stupid with a flare gun"..toolie said:I just picked this up on the weekend.
