Picked up some CanCon goodness this week. Been eying the Day for Night half speed mastered reissue for a couple months now, super glad I pulled the trigger. It sounds amazing!!!

i read something about "half speed" just over the weekend. what does that mean?
This explains it pretty well bud:

Cool I hadn’t seen that before. Here is a copy of the certificate that came with it, explains a bit as well.

That's hilarious that they send a certificate.  I have a few half speed masters from Abbey Road but I don't recall getting my certificate!  Anyways, I don't know that it makes a difference or not.  I can tell you my original Exile sounds much better than the half speed one..
  • I hate looking for an album, but when you are actively looking for it - it never shows up in any stores. And everyone is like "that one you see evereywheeeeeereeee"

Yeah, well not when I need it.

That half speed remastering of Day for Night by the Hip is amazing. It’s the only one I own so I can’t compare.

We bought that this summer for our niece in Ontario. They saw the show in New York.  She loves it!
