Kimberly was on fire last night.
    She was hot!

(Oh man, the weird yelling....the knowledge that she was married to who she was married to...who she is dating now....I half expected her to burst into flames.  Just awful   even the trumpeters had to be embarrassed by that shit show.)

Congress can't bring charges in that way.  It's referred to the DOJ.

yeah, i knew there was some reason, i'm just getting tired of the republicans flaunting their flagrant abuses of the law, knowing nothing will happen. especially since nothing will happen, with Barr at the helm.

it really is amazing how democracy in the US has managed to stay relatively intact all these years, with the president appointing everyone around him who can hold him to account. it just took a corrupt POS like trump to exploit it.

It really is.  It makes one think about past appointees.  Did other presidents do less-overt versions of the same thing?  Subtly, after all, isn't Trump's strong suit. But I could totally see someone (R or D) saying "You're going to turn the other way on the following..."  But we've seen nothing like Barr and DeJoy that I can think of.  W appointed pro-tobacco Tommy Thompson the Secretary of Health and Human Services and, I think, a polluter to the EPA. But nothing I can think of to specifically serve him.

Honestly I doubt much of anything.  Mitch is in it for power.  He saw that trumpism was taking over the party and instead of defending it and potentially losing his power he went with it.  He got 4 years of great power out of it...hopefully he only won the short game.

Mitch just has no moral compass.

That's how I see Moscow Mitch.  Pre-Trump, he broke the SCOTUS for almost a year.  He's party-first.  He's scum.  But I don't think he's compromised by anyone but himself.  He'd probably rather be working to the one-party system with a better president but this is the opportunity.

Yup. I don't think Moscow Mitch is a Trump supporter necessarily, but I do think he sees Trump as a useful idiot.

Saw this on Reddit.  So what is a Republican in 2020?

    Republicans don't support our troops.

    Added to:

Republicans are weak on national security.

    Republicans just tax and spend.

Republicans run up the national deficit.

    Republicans don't respect religious beliefs.

Republicans don't believe in law and order.

    Republicans don't support the Constitution.

Republicans are not loyal to America.

They don't  believe in morals and ethics
They don't support the rule of law
They don't support immigrants (legal and otherwise) looking for a better life. Something that America was built on.
They don't support people of color.
They don't support a woman's right to choose.
They don't  believe  in equal rights for everyone

How does it feel to be a bigot? This does nothing but divide just like what you accuse Trump of doing. There are so many people that complain about Trump and his actions but at the same time they don't realize they are doing exactly what they are accusing Trump of doing. It is dangerous to generalize groups of people just because you don't agree with them.

Are you proud of where Team Trump Treason has taken the repub party? Are you registered as a repub? Going to vote repub? Maybe a straight ticket? There is a difference between the repubs and dems, if you haven't noticed. How should we refer to repubs who support Team Trump Treason in ideology, money or with a vote? Hillary was right, deplorables.
