    I haven’t seen that. The quote others provided talk about her being unqualified for citizenship.

    I haven’t seen anything with the entire transcript yet. And I think that is pretty important here. The articles I’ve seen all state he was responding to a question but I haven’t seen what the question was. If the question was directly about that Newsweek article then that’s not him and the GOP starting the birther rumor, he adds he doesn’t know if it’s true. But if that responds was an answer to just a general question about Kamala then I would say it is.

    Either way, he should have shot it down. It smells of desperation to go through this again and not shut it down. But you can’t blame him for what a report brings up, if that is what happened.

    I was half-watching 11th Hour with Brian Williams last night. Didn't really catch the whole conversation, but part of the impression I got from the discussion is that the reporter who asked the question was a plant.

    If I remember correctly, and I may be mistaken, Team Trump Treason called on the regular “plant” who asked if she, I believe it’s a she, could give her question to a reporter outside the room or who was just outside the room. That person identified as being from the Epoch Times, Falung Gong’s mouthpiece. Either of those two or the reporter before them asked the question. Google is your friend.

    The “plant” I generally think of is the OANN reporter who generally asks really softball type questions about something the Administration wants out there, something nice and soft so Team Trump Treason can promote a conspiracy theory or something else with no basis in fact. Team Trump Treason doesn’t ignore these questions because it reminds him of calling into a radio program and pretending to be someone other than himself.

    I really wish someone would stand up and just call him the complete fucking scumbag asshole liar that he is until Team Trump Treason walked out, the rest of the press corps joined in and/or the secret service started a riot by forcibly removing the “offending” journalist(s). Enough is enough of this douche.

    I didn’t see the interview and have read very little about it other than the quotes listed. These things you’re pointing out are exactly why I would like to know more information about the report, the question asked and the press conference. You’re sort of proving my point as to why I asked those questions. I never said I’m convinced Trump had nothing to do with it, but simply that there’s more to the story id like to know and somehow that’s wrong to some.

    I don't care enough to Google it. And I've come to only allow myself an hour a day max of mindless technology interactions. I was just offering an observation that might have helped Mace understand how the situation evolved.     My bad. Guess I’ll quit my full time teaching job where we still don’t even have our class assignments and school starts Monday and was just told if kids get sick in my class I’m liable. But you know, the 3 articles I read that didn’t mention any background information isn’t enough. Not that I have anything else to worry about right now, better devote this whole weekend to internet research and not bother with any conversation about it.

    It’s really a shame that liability / fear of lawsuits trump safety. I feel for anyone in the teaching system and those with school-age children.
