    I am NOT a NIN fan at all. Cash did it as honestly as it can be done. like Soul said... not a very good song to begin with.

    Yeah, I've always loved the NIN original, one of my favorites in his/their catalog.  It resonates with me so much more.  Double that with the fact that I'm just not a Johnny Cash fan to begin with (although I do enjoy his cover of Rusty Cage, and A Boy Named Sue was one of my favorite songs as a kid) and that's why I'm a bit baffled by all the hurrah that his cover of Hurt gets.

    Lol! I actually didn't even notice that the lyrics were different. I'm thinking maybe Eddie hasn't either, haha!

    But, for me, the Tool version of No Quarter  doesn't touch Led Zeppelin's version. I thought it was just okay.
