Just booked this at my local pop up Drive-in for Friday night (they're doing Metallica Saturday otherwise I'd have done Saturday). Didn't think they'd have this at the Drive-in and had a dilemma about whether or not to venture to a cinema. Psyched its at the Drive-in.

Yes, though its playing Thursday night at Drive-ins here (and I'm sure elsewhere). First Bill & Ted is on Starz Encore Thursday, have to have the kid watch it so he has some clue Friday.

But when we went to see The Goonies, the concession stand line was full of a bunch of mouthbreathing goons who actually physically bumped into me twice, which would’ve been a shitty thing to do before Covid-19; now it feels like a felony.
The theater down the road is showing this. Hell, Keanu was a pretty funny sage in Spongebob: Sponge on the Run which I saw IN THE THEATER! There was my group and one other family in attendance. I figure if kids are going back to school might as well bite the bullet. Mmm... popcorn with butter.

We're bringing our own popcorn and drinks, rules be damned. And wtf is with Mean Girls for Sunday night? I had already planned to take Monday off so was targeting Sunday for the Drive-in. I love a young Lacey Chabert in a skimpy Santa suit as much as any red blooded male, but not for 30 bucks with the wife and kid in tow.
