Just seems weird to me, like if you could buy the super bowl champion merchandise for the team that loses.
If Superbowl loser merchandise was thoughtful artwork...you might buy it for the loser.  "Loser Art" a subgenre of the work developed by the Dadaist art movement.

I really like what NIN did, releasing their 2020 tour merch with proceeds going to food banks in the cities where the shows were scheduled: https://store.nin.com/collections/clothing/products/2020-tour-tee

How many people are actually interested in posters for shows that didn't happen?
Pretty much everything one can get in a mystery box are things from shows one probably did not attend. Doesn't take away from the fun. Unless you went to Chicago 2018. Then you definitely got a Baby Brain poster in your box.

Spot on.  And... if it’s not your thing you don’t have to buy.  Everyone’s a winner.  =)

The Phillies beat the Rays in 5 games that year. Why would they even make Rays shirts at that point? I figured most of the merch wasn't printed until later in the series.
I once met someone in the business.  They produce winning merchandise for both teams so no matter who wins it is available immediately when the series ends.

Well... I got a baby brain and an 03 Indy poster.  So win some lose some.

I avoided the brain, but got jackaloped. I'd have to buy a mb after last time. Killer stuff packed in those boxes.

In the last sale, I bought two boxes:
I got an Areas 2010 (already had), an Emek endless war (already had SE and AP), another Emek endless war and my first McCreepy.

This is true. For a super bowl or Game 7, there's boxes near both teams. If a team is up 3-1, they definitely have one set of stuff ready to go that night...maybe not so with the other team, as they have a few days to prepare things in case of a series comeback.

Cincy is a great poster so I see why you would want that.
