i reckon everytime he signs in the 1st thing he does is search "Gus" just to see if people are talking about him.

maybe i should start searching my name to make sure you arseholes aren't talking shit about me when i'm not around.
Don't worry bout doing a search......I can tell you, you're all we talk about when you're not here  :D
  • Morning y'all :)

Gus....when you get time.....post some tips in my thread on LW....I need all the help I can get

    ;):D

Yeah... saw that thread... I'll see what I can do.
You'll be right... you just need to be ready for it... and you need to know what your own personal priorities are whilst on tour.

Didn't go too hard with the Pearl Jam tunes at the wedding... although I did sing a couple on the night with my brother's band...

Cool......I had in my mind u met her on the tour.:)

    Yep....I'm getting prepared :D
As far as accom....I don't need anything flash. As long as it's clean, got a bed and somewhere to dump all my shit - I'll be happy.
It's just easier if someone can recommend a place...OR....tell of places to avoid :)

I've shared apartments with quite a few of the gang from here and it's made it so much more fun and also is good to share the cost....so I like appartments.

What I'd like to know is what people to do ensure they get good tickets for non-10c shows....even though they should ALL be fucking 10c shows in my opinion!!!!

Threefish, how did B get those good tickets for the second night?

yup, same old tired jokes from all 3 austin powers movies.

i should have known it was gonna be shit when the 1st joke was a sign of a village that read:

    "Harenmahkeester Population 76"

the only joke i kinda laughed at was when he 1st meets the mini me guy and he says

    "i'm sorry, i didn't catch you gnome...NAME!?"

she had to sleep with the guy that runs the Ent Cent.

it's good she took one for the team(so to speak) and didn't even get to reap the benefits of front row.

but she really just got them from ticketek the day of the sale. i may have said it before but the guys next to me got theirs the week of the actual show from ticketek.

i guess ticketek put them aside for promotion or some such and they didn't get used so sold the the week before the show.

    Grrrrr...fucking Ticketek.

How did she know that concert went on sale straight away? Didn't it start selling as soon as the first concert sold out? How did she know to ring up at that exact moment?

i told her just to sit on there knowing that 2nd shows would go onsale pretty soon on the day.

but i'm pretty sure it went onsale the same time as the 1st, cause she rang me at about 3 past 9 saying she got me front rows for night 2.

he's pretty good at getting tickets, the worst seats i've had for PJ are 6th row.

except for 98 when it was standing on the floor.

You mean tickets as priorities? Tix are definitely my priority, but I know how to get them :) So my next thing is to know what accom to look for :o

Ive said that b4 also...they keep so many tickets back, good ones as well as crap ones.... When they say a show is sold out they are lying..:)
Ive done ticket searches about a month b4 and there are better seats available..
My Melb 2 ticket I purchased about a month b4...my original ticket bought on the day of the general sale was way up the in the rafters I sold that on ebay for a lower figure was all good tho....
I have even heard of ppl buying front row on the night....that kinda sucks...
To be slack to buy a ticket b4 hand then score front row on the night...:)
