Love tool and apc! Huge Maynard fan. Seen tool over 20X's and apc over 13X's. anyone catch Maynard using a voice track? Could've sworn last tour he fucked up in Philly and I heard the voice over keep playing. Curious if anyone else caught it...still a fucken great band! First time I saw them in NYC they played just a little over an hour cuz they didn't have a lot of materiel. I believe they even covered a cure song that night.

They do a sweet version of Love Song mixed with Ozzy's Diary of a Madman.

I couldn't tell you. I think they use some kind of a loop for counting bodies.

    What song was it on?

It’s hard to pick what album is best. All three are god damn brilliant. Maynards singing is beautiful in the new one. Mer De Noms is so fierce and showed a vulnerable side not seen in Tool. 13th Step is just breathtaking. Such a great band. Their live shows was unreal too. Saw them with The Mars Volta at the Bill Graham in San Fran some years back. What a show!!!
    Peace,Love and Pearl Jam.

Think the highlights on MDN are my favourite APC songs across the board, but I like TS more as a complete album. Loved MDN when it came out though. Had a friend in a record store that played me Judith a month or so before it came out. Was like fuck yeah. Funny that when Corgan was still not talking to Iha he was slagging him by saying "he's in a band with my guitar tech". Maybe so, but also with Josh Freese, and MJK who, considering the quality of musicianship in his main gig, doesn't appear to suffer fools musically.

They stole the show last week in Boston... having Josh back in the mix is the best possible thing that could happen to this band.

I love that they're active again, and I think there's more to come.

It was recorded for an EP ahead of the Sessanta tour. One song each from APC, Primus, and Puscifer. At least for now it's only available physically or wherever someone rips and posts it.

Have always loved Mer de Noms but the rest of their records have been extremely disappointing to me!  The amazing guitar riffs on Mer de Noms are nowhere to be found on any of their other records!

Mer de Noms is a gem. And I absolutely love 13th step. Im always shocked that a band could disappoint as much as they did on that Elephant album after so much love for their past work.

I do kinda dig that new song Eeiredave posted though. :)

I like 13th Step more then MDN to be honest. 13th seems to have a better flow from start to finish... it's perfection IMO.
