    Hartford 2010 is an amazing version. 
    Word was he was going to do JG acoustic on that Stay at Home special a couple weeks ago but was talked into doing a song off the new album by some high level record executive. I've heard Ed is still steamed over it.

    After a three fish show back in the late 90s Jeff told me that Johnny guitar was on side B of the mamasan tapes.  When the band heard it they realized they couldn’t record it because they would have gotten too popular too quick and not paid their “dues”. This was after a few beers so take it with a grain of salt.

    If you think about this logically you soon realize that if this information was actually included in PJ20 then the whole concept of Pearl Jam would have been altered.  Too many "what if's".  I mean Ten sold in excess of 10 million albums, what if Johnny Guitar had been included in that album?!  Their first show still would have been at the Off Ramp but their second show would be at the Key Arena.
    The famous Philly "Ten" show back in 2016.....Once, Evenflow, Alive, mother fucking Johnny Guitar?!?!  Would the stage have withstood such energy from the crowd?  I actuallyjust got chills thinking of the flow of that setlist.

    If you put the Reenk Roink disc upside down in an old Mitsumi CRMC-LU005S drive, you can hear an early JG demo from the Ed's Bad Radio days.  Has to be a Mitsumi drive, though, and must be that specific model.

    I ve met Ed three times, shared beers with Jeff, been front row several times but man when Ed looked in my direction during Johnny guitar is my all time top memory from the 58 shows I have seen live.
