Obviously you have very strong opinions on the matter.  My point was and still is that the article also brings to light that the dem nominees son is also involved in a 1.5b$ deal.  Point being that that is exactly the kind of thing that the RNC can use against Joe. But I guess it is better to throw your hands up in the air and grandstand the moral high ground than to question how this could be damaging to the Democratic candidate. Because to the uneducated voter at large it is absolutely a blunt force weapon in the hands of your very own triple T.

That's the real problem, not Hunter Biden's thus far legal business dealings. I would love for Team Trump Treason to bring it up in a debate with Sleepy Woke Joe. You think the Biden camp isn't ready for a response? All that praise of China and Xi and the false narrative of tariffs? Not to mention a quarter of a billion dollar loan?

This has nothing to do with what you or I think is better or worse and everything to do with how Trump could weaponize it.  I pretty much agree with you.  Whether we have moral high ground or not means absolutely nothing anymore. It is going to come down to who can get the best news bites, memes and zingers.  I’m not even trusting trump will join a debate.  In this thread we are in a bubble of like minded people for the most part. Of course we all agree that the current administration is a disaster, as well that Trumps deal is far worse than the deal that Hunter is involved with. Allowing our belief in what is right can seriously cloud our judgement as to Trumps actual chances to win a reelection and pick apart our candidates weaknesses.  This is the country that re-elected W after he started a groundless occupation in Iraq for gods sake.  You think the public at large is going to cling to the fact that Bidens sons stake is only 400k? 400k is more than the average voter makes in two to 4 years. I don’t believe that the odds are clearly in favor of Trump being a one term president, and believe that it is completely ok to look at my sides candidates weaknesses when it comes to influencing the voters that will decide the upcoming election.

If the average voter and the uneducated ones at that, vote Team Trump Treason over Sleepy Woke Joe, after the complete and total shit show we've witnessed for the past three years, because of Hunter Biden's so far legal business dealings with China, then this country has way more problems and deserves everything that another four years of Team Trump Treason will bring.

Funny how you can ask me whether or who had the better/worse deal and yet when you're asked the same, or who is more "compromised," you deflected. I hate to break it to you but there are no pure as the driven snow candidates. None. Its all degrees of who has done less bad shit or more good shit, after policy considerations. I did not deflect I stated that Trumps deal was worse. I just went back and underlined and bolded it for you. I also said that I agree with you. Nowhere did I say there is a pure candidate.nor do I think there is one.  I also do not believe that the candidate that has done the most good is necessarily the candidate that will win. My point is still that it’s not about who is worse or better it is about who can spin it best. After several years it is very clear that Trump has the edge on spinning the worst news in his favor and coming out on top as far as the view of the average schmo on the street that will be deciding the election.  Another point we agree on is that if Trump gets another term the country gets what it deserves.

But this is what is partly the dems' problem, they don't get down in the mud and "weaponize" shit that clearly should be weaponized. This idea that dems have to take the high road or field squeaky clean candidates or worry about perceptions when they fight back, is why they lose on the national stage. Politics is a dirty, nasty fucking business and if you're not willing to fight back at the level that your opponent fights at, your ceding the fight. And some things are worth fighting for. Team Trump Treason wins because nobody has fought him at his disgusting level. Hunter Biden shouldn't mean shit if you can "spin" it.

I believe a factor in Obama's 2008 election was that the McCain camp was wholly prepared to take on Hillary and her baggage and Obama had nothing they could hammer the negatives with. He was squeaky clean, unless you (general you) thought his relationship with Reverend Wright got your panties in a bunch. Or you believed he was a Muslim. Or born in Kenya. Mitt Romney was too nice of a candidate.

And don't forget, part of the reason why Team Trump Treason is POTUS is because 12% of those "dem" primary Bernie supporters voted Team Trump Treason and I'd argue that's a bigger factor than the "average schmo on the street," being spun.
