I'd like to see Ms. @deadendp wrap the items bolded above. I'm there for the Instagram video if one happens.mfc2006 said:Just ran to Lowe's to get a couple of supplies for a house project. 95% of people that I saw were wearing masks & giving everyone more than enough space. It was a nice change from the last trips to various stores.
Not only that, they brought out all mulch, soil, rocks, etc into the parking lot for self-loading and only allowed one car to go through at a time. I was impressed.I SAW PEARL JAM0 -

A project. Might have the kid step in to help, but I could do it. Maybe this week. Got into an organizing project. Gotta get that done first.
I could gift wrap a car if I had to. I won't, but I could.2014: Cincinnati

That took more than 4 people 4 hours to do that. :rofl:2014: Cincinnati

I placed two pick up orders with Giant Eagle. The first order was $58. I realized I neglected to put the Smart Balance on there (lactose free peeps in the house) so I tried to edit the order. I couldn't since they had already had it in processing. The order totaled out at $19.
The second order was one I honestly padded with a bunch of stuff not filled on the first order, but because I added chicken, smart balance and an extra loaf of bread, I needed more to get to the order minimum. The second order I submitted was $45. That order totaled out to just under $13.
Chicken was 2 breasts, not the family pack. One tiny container of Smart Balance. No Lysol. No wipes. Between the 2 orders, we didn't hit the order minimum for one order.2014: Cincinnati

Are you doing all your grocery shopping online? I've been going to the grocery store every two weeks or so. I actually made it three weeks between trips last time, but we supplemented with some takeout here and there.deadendp said:I placed two pick up orders with Giant Eagle. The first order was $58. No. I do one big shop a month and supplement halfway through with GE curbside. I go to the curbside only store, so I was thinking that perhaps they would keep up on stock a bit more.dankind said:

We're fine. I just get some fresh stuff in between.

Found hand sanitizer and rubbing alcohol today. Things are calming down a little."Your light's reflected now, reflected from afar. We were but stones, your light made us stars."0

Went to the grocery on Friday to pick up a prescription. Decided that I would fly through and grab a few things we needed. Other than the illusive Lysol spray, everything else was there. It wasn't a major shopping trip, but I picked up some things. 98% of the customers were wearing masks. 100% of the coworkers were. Well stocked, even the meat department. Nothing was rushed. Everyone was polite. My husband asked me how it was and I was able to tell him, "Pleasant." Thursday is the once-a-month major shop. I hope that shopping day is equally as pleasant.2014: Cincinnati

This is great to see.
Instacart order yesterday....had to wait a few days for the schedule date but the shopper was really great. Communication throughout. Was able to sub for many of the items and only missed out totally on a few items, which is not abnormal.
This time there was beef available, which was great. Some steaks, roasts, and Stew cuts went right into the freezer.
Also...they had Bubba Burgers back in stock....which is great for next weekend. If I'm not making a fresh burger I want a Bubba Burger. The love he receives is the love that is saved0 -
Clorox wipes are still going to be hard to find... My order I placed a month ago still says 3 weeks out.0

I ordered an 80 count container and got a 35 count container instead. That was weeks ago. Haven't seen them since. I think I am just going to make some when we run out. Can't be that hard. We don't use them often anyhow.tempo_n_groove said:Clorox wipes are still going to be hard to find... My order I placed a month ago still says 3 weeks out.

Always have bubba onion burgers and potato buns in the freezer. Not the best quality but they work when you have starving teenagers and I am in the mood to recreate the SNL skit - cheesebooger cheesebooger cheesebooger, not coke pepsi, no fries chips.....my kids think I am nutsF Me In The Brain said:This is great to see.

If you come across Fuddruckers frozen burgers, pick some up, they are even better than Bubba's!Monkey Driven, Call this Living?0
