The place of all things Joe Rogan.

I think he's a complete idiot, convince me otherwise, or don't.

I occasionally watch his podcast - all driven by the guests and if I find them interesting.
Have been inspired and informed by a number of them
Have turned people off quickly when I thought what they were talking about was dumb.
Like his buddy Bert.  That moron makes me laugh, so hard.
I saw Rogan a few times years ago, opening for other acts, and he was funny.
Liked Fear Factor years back, as well.

Didn't know about his podcast for years and was told by others to check it out based on a few episodes and that was where I started paying any attention to him.

Had no idea about his Trump support....it does make me think worse of him, just as it makes me think worse of any person who supports that piece of crap.

I'm now more interested in the psychology behind starting a thread about someone you find to be a complete idiot. I think John Oliver's show is dumb and the last thing I want to do is discuss it.

I'm not here to convince anyone of anything.

I (oh no!) like Joe - his humor, generosity, ability to ask questions when he admits he knows shit about something.

He's had some great guests and discusses a variety of subjects.

And yeah, F Me - he was the perfect host for FF, and I even loved his early days on NewsRadio.  Whatta cast!

To the point, I really like his show. Used to listen more years ago when I was in the car more. Don't have as much time now, so I generally focus on specific guests. My wife likes him, too, so it's a default show we can agree on when we're on a long drive together.

And, yeah, NewsRadio is one of the most underrated comedies of all time. Used to watch it over and over in college.

Boring standup. Try hard in his comedy.

And James Hatfield came off as a douche on his pod.

I've enjoyed some of his interviews with interesting guests.  Bu I too had no idea he supports Trump.  If that's true, then he's a POS.  But I'd like to see more evidence of that before I pass judgement.

Care to discuss Joe or maybe you want to start a thread about me? Sure that will go over well.

I also think Trump is a complete idiot and started a thread about him. Might be because I think it's important to spread awareness at how dangerous some of these people are.

To bring this back on topic Joe Rogan thinks the moon landing was faked, is a birther and a 9/11 truther. Care to discuss any of that? Or we can just make this about me I guess.

Unless I missed something, he just said he'd probably vote for Trump instead of Biden. A month or two ago he said he was supporting Bernie. These aren't prepared proclamations either. He just mentions it for a couple minutes during the course of a conversation and a bunch of news outlets run with JOE ROGAN ENDORSES BERNIE.

He's not dangerous and, no, I don't really want to discuss him with someone who thinks he is.

He doesn’t support Trump. He said he’d vote for him before voting for Biden, as in he’d vote for anyone before voting for a man most likely in severe mental decline. It was a non-endorsement for Biden.

I don’t believe Rogan subscribes to those particular conspiracy theories and hasn’t in a long time. He’s admitted to foolishly believing a lot of that shit in the past and still clearly entertains conspiracies as ideas.

How do you square voting for Team Trump Treason as not being support for him? Is Joe Rogan a doctor and qualified to make that assessment, based on what, exactly?

Since the choice is Biden or Devil, the choice if you vote Devil is that you are supporting Devil

Also....so he said he thought that Trump was in fine mental health/not on a decline?
Not only is he fucking obese (which I would imagine disgusts Joe) but he is a rambling idiot who makes very little sense, repeats himself frequently, and appears to sleep very little.

I certainly didn't want any president to be one foot in the grave but those are our two options now.

I like Joe and find his podcasts entertaining.  To me it’s no different than any other podcast out there.  It’s entertaining and he has a large spectrum of guests from complete nutters to actual geniuses.  Joe himself comes off as an average bone head.  I don’t take his comments as support of trump, more like he really thinks anyone but Biden would have been a better candidate against trump.  I can’t say I disagree with that. As it stands I’m voting Biden, who knows what could happen between now and November?

    uhhhh

trump is in severe mental decline, so his position is moot.

why is joe getting multiple covid tests?

that tells me he is not doing what he is supposed to do, so in that case he can piss off for being so irresponsible.

I'll agree with you on newsradio but that's it. Regarding Biden v Trump, Rogan is acting like an opportunist idiot to play to his audience. And he is lying to please his audience by telling half truths.

Yes Biden is losing some sharpness but so is trump. But trump can  overcome it with his lying and bullying, an opportunity Biden just doesnt have. Bidens  problem is he continually searches for the truth in his comments which makes his stuttering look worse and then people think omg look how old he is.

I dont see how Oliver or Stewart lie about their political beliefs or pretend to be independent but then sway to the candidate of  choice simply to please their audiences like Rogan shamelessly does

He isn’t receiving the tests that everyone is getting or waiting for. It’s a non-FDA-approved test. Privileged? Yes, absolutely. Taking from those who can’t get a test? No.

I dont see how Oliver or Stewart lie about their political beliefs or pretend to be independent but then sway to the candidate of  choice simply to please their audiences like Rogan shamelessly does
You're making it out to be calculated and it's not. He's high and shooting the shit for 3 hours.

He is playing to his MMA macho audience by comparing trumps battle with Biden to Tyson fighting a three year old. He is pretending to be a non political independent and being swayed by trumps supposed power and masculinity. And big surprise that relates strongly to his audience. Stewart and Oliver are known to be passionate liberals not pretending to be anything other than what they are.
