"Eddie Vedder's performance is remarkable."
I miss igotid880 -
So given the comments about how good some of the performances are, the artists sent them in and someone is putting them all together. (I guess it had to be that way, cannot imagine trying to put something up in the moment). What a large undertaking. Interested to see what sort of things come out of this. The love he receives is the love that is saved0

Jennifer Hudson's performance of Hallelujah brought me to tears and made me re-listen to this version...

Side note.. I am enjoying all the artists in this organic format. I'm normally not a big country fan but Lady Antebellum's performance blew me away. Amazing how they can coordinate and harmonize from different places. The pop stars are making it real as well. I'm really enjoying this entire event.

Now does he do the full version of River Cross or does he shorten it?I miss igotid880

Idefk.. THAT^^^ is going to be such an amazing song to be played LIVE in a packed arena, everyone's arms in the air like they're playing Nothingman. That's how I see that one played.0
-
Shortened but damn makes me yearn for more0
-
Damn, watching that with my family while thinking that in just a few short hours we would've been at the show in Oakland tonight was a little more emotional than I had thought. Ed definitely made the right call playing River Cross.0

For someone with such an aversion to social
media, Ed has done Together at Home, Kokua Festival and dropped in on Glen Hansard’s birthday set in the last week alone. He also sent a message to Black Circle during their show.
Let’s hope he’s getting more comfortable with it now and eventually does his own set someday...“Do not postpone happiness”
