I gotta figure this will get released as a box or something at SOME POINT, right?
I would certainly hope so. The fact that there's been no word or movement on this is odd, in my opinion.
If only the guys did an AMA or something...
    6/26/98, 8/17/00, 10/8/00, 12/8/02, 12/9/02, 4/25/03, 5/28/03, 6/1/03, 6/3/03, 6/5/03, 6/6/03, 6/12/03, 6/13/03, 6/15/03, 6/18/03, 6/21/03, 6/22/03, 7/12/03, 7/14/03, 10/3/04, 10/5/04, 9/9/05, 9/11/05, 9/16/05, 5/16/06, 5/17/06, 5/19/06, 6/30/06, 7/23/06, 8/5/07, 6/30/08, 8/23/09, 8/24/09, 5/4/10, 5/7/10, 9/3/11, 9/4/11, 10/11/13, 10/17/14, 8/20/16

Copenhagen 2007 (because of how strong of a show it is)
London 2007 (because of the whole floor being tenclub)
    Toledo 2004 (because Neil Young)
1997 show (because opening up for Rolling Stones, means the shows are vinyl-short in length)

If 90s, i'm hoping for a 1995 show from Asia. Or the one where Eddie leaves and Neil Young shows up. That would be a special show.
97 stones would be cool but they are 60 min ish each which makes for 1.5 lps. Maybe a box of them ALL or include Catalyst somehow?
60 minutes is perfect for a vinyl, and will maybe make it not cost $2000

Live shows aren't made for vinyl to begin with. So, I have no problems with finding shorter (but complete) shows. Instead of releasing 14 records per set.

Some cool songs debuted in 97, so ot holds some value historically too.
    I don't see them releasing a 1.5 lp show as a vault
How long is Vault 1 and 2 (the ones not released on vinyl)?

Something from ‘96. That’s the only tour from the 90’s without an official release. Outside of the soundboard of the Berlin Show, we ain’t got shit from ‘96. #justiceforjack

I'm all for this. I've sold all of my vaults, but if they put out a '96 show (or PJ20), I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I think what the band (or Jeff) deems a Vault worthy show is probably different from us.

Sound quality and performance probably matters most to him.  We love great setlists more than they do.  They love all of the tunes lol.

    Would love 9/11/98 or a 96 non-Berlin show.

Didn't one of the new issues of Deep state that 9.11.98 MSG was never recorded due to monetary reasons?
Not entirely clear, at bare minimum the encore was NOT recorded but it could very well be the whole show, but it was in that event not multi-tracked.   They almost assuredly have a FOH board mix.  Not ideal for vinyl.
Gotcha.  Thanks for explaining it. 😀

It is Vault X, maybe shock us and do a pj20 box set or Randall’s set, something out of the ordinary but still in the “vault” theme of a special live release once per year.

If not, well then ‘96, please.

    6-20-98 - Missoula, MT

The was my first real Pearl Jam show (not including a Lolla set I'd seen in '92).   It was also Matt Camerons first real outing (not including a warm up show at a bar).

In my completely biased opinion I would love to see it get a proper release one day.  We know they taped the whole '98 tour.  How amazing would it be to make official boots for that whole tour?

Why would they not have been recorded? And what is the audio source for the film? I haven't watched it in probably 10 years but remember audio being fine 🤷‍♂️

I did not say it wasn't recorded, said multi track, which seems to be the only way they are doing the Vault series.  It is difficult to set up multi track recording in odd venues with multiple bands on the same bill, there are potential union contracts for local employees at the venue etc.  Plus overall the band and all the participating bands focus was on a different thing than bootlegs.
