Lest We Forget.
My grandfather arrived in Pearl Harbour the day after the attack. He was meant to arrive the day before, but something happened which i am not sure of that delayed there arrival. If it didn't, i wouldn't be here to talk to you. I'm going to the dawn service. It's a every year thing, dad wakes us up, head to the service, family gathering, breakfast at the RSL then sleep.
:( go then? Isn't there one close to home that you could just duck out to and leave B and Z home asleep?

i don't even know any others except the one in town. and seeing as dawn is now only a few hours away i don't think there will be any chance of me getting out of bed at like 3.30am

Well if you can't make the dawn service, maybe the 3 of you could go to the memorial later in the day and perhaps pop some flowers there and pay your respects.
I'm sure you'll find your own way to do it - he's in your thoughts and that's the main thing, hun
Let us not forget the many troops past and present that have given their lives for our great country, which we live in, with relative freedom.
Let the sun never set on our admiration and thanks for their sacrifice.
I hope everyone today will reflect on these thoughts, and pray for our men and women who are overseas fighting for freedom of mankind.

My Drum kits are awesome i must say.... but being they are for 3 year old kids, it kinda defeats the purpose
I've just finished work (as in computer shite) for the day, so might??? do a bit of cleaning and then just kick back and do feck all
We did our cleaning this morning. Now I'm doing some computer work. In about 1/2 hour I have Scott coming over for me to help him with his uni assignment -- he has to do a business plan or something for a photography subject.

Actually, I did watch 2 x 1 hour episodes of Deadwood. Anyway seen it - western tv show? I thought it was great! Well worth watching.
