I think that "in the midst of the sixth" is a reference to the 6th mass extinction: https://www.businessinsider.com/signs-of-6th-mass-extinction-2019-3mickeyrat said:MedozK said:
Yea, I figured. I think only 2 version are out there. I'm still looking for someone in Europe to post their runout information, so I can see if there are 2 different cuts. I will be chasing down an EU version anyway, since they're definitely different pressings.cdthomas1981 said:
Sorry it's "In the midst of the 6th," I mis-typed that earlier.MedozK said:
Does yours have Made in the EU on the labels?cdthomas1981 said:Mine has the 6th variant etched on Side 4.
What is your runout information?
Definitely two pressings of these, wondering if there are 2 cuts.obvious baseball reference "in the midst of the sixth" (on my copy)wonder if this means they feel they are 2/3 through their career?means another 15 years or so if true.......

The power of suggestion. Not even a suggestion really, just a mere mention.

The Wild and Innocent is my current favorite. The great thing about Bruce is that you go through phases with his records... at least I do.1ThoughtKnown said:

They were children when they recorded itLoujoe said:^^^wow a blast from the past...what cracks me up is the bands hate towards children and love for the amoeba...keep dusting off those classics.
But to carry on with "Blast from the Past" theme... ever heard of this one?

KROQ and the "Get Off The Air" Controversy
1979, Mike Saunders, Turner and Homer wrote an infamous song about longtime LA/Hollywood scenemaker and KROQ-FM DJ Rodney Bingenheimer , titled "Get Off the Air". When the song was included on the band's first record Inside My Brain, the Samoans were blacklisted at the Starwood, Whisky a Go Go , and other clubs in the Hollywood/LA area from mid-1980 through late 1982, seemingly due to Bingenheimer's strong influence with the LA/Hollywood club scene.
