Tier 2: Superblood Wolfmoon, Alright, Buckle Up

When the heck is this out on streamingservices? No point in buying the CD tomorrow, have nowhere to play it.

Chew slowly my friend! Taste that shit. hahaha!  I was never a big fan of "You Are" but DOTC is great. The ending is hauntingly good.

Top tracks here: SBWM, DOTC, Quick Escape, 7:00, Buckle Up, Retrograde, Never Destination
Middle: Who Ever Said, Take the Long Way, River Cross, Alright
It's so bad why is it even a song?  Comes Then Goes (6 minutes of bad makes it worse)

Such an improvement from Backspacer and LB where about 50% of the album was pretty good and the other 50% were duds/below average.  Better than Avocado which had 2 or 3 bad tracks.  Their best studio work since Yield.

What an album.  Can't wait to rock out live to most of these tracks and look forward to seeing how they work them into the setlists.

I like your idea of tiering the songs. It is interesting to see which ones resonate the most with different people. I agree with JimmyV above, that it is a good sign of a strong album when everyone is all over the place with what they think are the strongest tunes.

    My tiers would be:
Tier 1: Seven O'Clock, DOTC, Who Ever Said, Quick Escape, Retrograde
Tier 2: Comes Then Goes, Superblood Wolfmoon, River Cross, Alright, Buckle Up
Tier 3: Never Destination, Take the Long Way

I know I'm going to get shit for putting Comes then Goes as my least favorite song on the album but I just can't really get into it in the spirit of the album, it just feels somewhat out of place. It's a great song - but I feel like it should be on an Ed solo album instead. Of course, all of this can (and probably will change) as we all get more acquainted with Gigaton.

I love how all over the place some of our fanviews are. This person loves this song but that one as much. The next person is the opposite. That's a sign that there is a lot to like on this album and more than one way to appreciate it. I am so happy Gigaton is in our lives.
Yes, all over the place makes this a Great record, I think.

I don’t think it is as good as yield but I think it is the best album they ve put out since yield.  It is a really easy record to like, immediately connected my first listen thru just like yield.

Great response as we all know Yield can have no equal. I would love Gigaton to be second place because IMO no other release after Yield came close to it. Thanks

Comes Then Goes struck me as odd first spin, then someone on Reddit posted the lyrics and I sat with it again - lyrically incredible - I love it now. I'm enjoying all of these songs even more now that the lyrics are out there. Might be my fav album since Riot Act.

Also, can anyone else imagine if Of the Earth made it on Gigaton? This album would have rivaled, dare I say it, the Big Three...
