Update:  Kokua Festival April 25th!!

So the Tour is toast.  Time to promote this thing like its Yield and setup shop at the Warehouse Monkeywrench style.  Just PJ and the crew.

Nice live preview of Gigaton and whatever else they want to play.  It could look like Single Video Theory.

10club members get exclusive access.  I’m down for it.  Do it March 27th.  Friday night live PJ!

    This is a brilliant idea

    Please. Yes.
They are ready to play for us and we are ready for and desperate for them to play.

They should do a new Self-Pollution Radio. Hell, they even have their own radio station now.

I thought about that but it probably cant involve five or six bands all getting together.  I imagine in Seattle they’re trying to avoid large gatherings.  If it’s just them playing a life set on Pearl Jam radio then I’m with you

I support this idea, but since Seattle has confirmed cases, wonder if any of the band is even in town...

Yeah, they have had to have been rehearsing. I think this could be a fun make up for the fans.

Yeah for how I meant it; just them performing. No other bands, no Ed spinning records and rambling on.

These days you wouldn't even need a big crew to set up a webcast.  Just the band and a couple of folks.
  • I really hope they do some sort of live webcast for all of us fans missing out on the spring tour. I think this is a great idea! And I'm sure their working out the logistics right now =)

Cool idea for sure.  It also would be pretty sweet to lock down the Key Arena for a night and film an entire show to an empty arena.  That way, they could use a full PA, lighting rig etc.  It could be pretty conceptual with shots of the empty concourse, seats, dark scoreboard etc.  Danny Clinch could make it a pretty powerful historical document...

A PJ Radio broadcast would undoubtedly include Stone playing some Radiohead tunes

Love it. I'd even pay to view. F-it. I'd make my living room like it was MSG.

Maybe if someone starts a poll... If Pearl Jam offered Ten Club members only the option to pay for a live broadcast show, celebrating new album in lieu of this mess... How much would you pay? I'd pay 50 at least
  • cp3iversoncp3iverson Posts: 8,632
I would definitely pay.  That would be a really fun evening.

Yeah man. Im for anything.  The band taking over PJ Radio would be cool too.  Love it.

I have this vision of them setting up shop in the warehouse tho and just webcasting a full show.  Single Video Theory style.

Phish has been doing this for almost 20 years.  Other bands have been streaming their shows for nearly as long.  I don’t understand why PJ would miss out on this easy revenue stream.
