Anybody have any idea how the pit is?  Over sold and crowded or room to hang towards the back?   TIA
If the same setup as 2014, there will be room towards the back of the pit!

Yup. My parents still don’t believe me when they visit and we get a snowstorm and I start making plans for the next day saying it will be nice out.
We’ve gone from below 0 to above 60 degrees in less than 24 hours.

Got Pit! 486*** BA 1st priority.  Good seats for STL as well.  I hope all the folks visiting Denver for the first time have a great time in our city.

Section 118 Row 14.  If anyone mid floor and wants to move into lower bowl, let me know!  Also, do the numbers go clockwise in the Pepsi Center?  And where is the PJ pre party? Flying in from Indy.

In the door with 10c tix.  Looking for another pair.  Can't wait!
  • How do the locals feel about The Curtis or Homewood Suites?  Pretty similar locations. Curtis maybe a little more north?

Kinda wish I had put in for Denver, my brother and parents live in Colorado Springs, would have made for a nice visit. Maybe I can snag a couple when the f2f opens up
I'll ride the wave where it takes me

The Curtis is a nice modern experience.  Every floor has its own theme.
  • If there is any chance anyone has a spare GA for Denver, I'm travelling with 2 others that already have a pair and would love to be able to join them for the show and not be solo in a seat. Please get in touch if you think you might have this option. See you all in Denver!!!  =)
  • last night I saw tool in Nola and basically sat in the same section that I'm going to sit for this show. You literally get to see and hear everything.

Turned the A/C on in my car yesterday, woke up to a sheet of ice on my windshield. Colorado gonna Colorado.

Yup. Same here.  72 yesterday. Low of 12 tonight.
After the game last night I was outside in a t-shirt watching my dog play, and had to use 4 wheel drive to get down my driveway this morning.

As much as I loved Colorado weather when I lived there I don't miss the yo-yo weather swings.

One 62 degree day in April about 5 years ago I walked the 10 minutes to my bank and in that 10 plus the 10 I was in there a cold front moved in, dropped the temp by 20+. I had to walk home in shorts and a t-shirt in flurries with the stench of Greeley in the air.

    Enjoy Front Range April!

ISO 1 GA ticket. I can be your poster buddy.
  •  WI was there to see Frampton’s goodbye show in a July.  It was supposed to be 84 degrees at Red Rocks.  I wore shorts and t shirt driving up from the Springs.  Saw snow in the mountains coming up 67.  Rain and 53 degrees at Showtme.  Be prepared with a backpack and layers!

Thats not true. calling for 2-6 inches, not feet. And winds aren't bad today.

I figured it was the ski resorts. If we get 2 inches they get a foot.
  • Looking for some local knowledge on the best area to get a hotel for the Denver show. Would like to be walking distance or short uber ride from the arena but also close to some bars and restaurants?

Anywhere in the downtown area will be fine - it is easy to get around with uber/lyft and public transportation; some places you might what to check out to see what you prefer (every little area has a bit of a different feel to it) are Larimer Square, Rino, Capitol Hill, Highlands, Berkeley/Tennyson St., Lodo (Lower downtown), Uptown, Union Station, Santa Fe Arts District, South Broadway, and Pearl St. Some of these areas are further than others, but I'd go with what you like, then just take an uber to the show.

My top choice is probably South Broadway; lots of bars with live music, good restaurants, cool coffee shops, and a really great comic/used book shop.
