Well Trudie's hubby looked like Shannon in the wedding photos .. he must have shaved that thingy off under his chin just to spite me. ;)

I just went to the Lost Dogs My Space page and they are bloody good.

I'm going outside for some sun. Its about 28 degrees here today.. almost like summer.

    Speak to you later people.

Just played their vid, Tig.....and they are FANTABULOUS!!!! I really want to see them live more than ever now! It's always a worry (with ANY tribute/cover band), but Lost Dogs really do PJ justice. You must be so proud. Some people in the next street from us had a band playing at their house last year and they sounded really good playing other bands songs....BUT.....then they had to go there didn't they....they played Daughter! I'm the first to admit, that I am biased, but the nob head singer kept fogetting the words and I got to the point where I was ready to storm over there and friggin head but the guy....I mean to say! Where's the respect Dude!?
It'd be great to have a hubby/partner that's into PJ....I definitely don't have one of them, so if he's home it's a PJ free zone here.....unless I have a few too many bourbons and say F**K it:eek:! LOL! ;)

Hey Tig....you didn't say....do you know the lady's name that was doing the doco?
I was reading a great interview with Ed yesterday and he's been working on a doco, too (war related) and it sounds like it's going to be really good...do you think 10C will give us the heads up when it comes out and if we'll get to see it?

Aww thanks Kyl :D Like I said the Vid doesnt do them justice... they sound so much better when your there, but thanks for the kind words... i'll tell em what you said... they'll be stoked!!!
And yes it does suck when you hear bands sing covers and screw them up. I hate that... thats why I scrutinise the guys and make sure they are playing the songs the way they should be played... and not adding their own to it or missing lyrics, bass lines etc. They hate it when I go to practice!! Poor Buggers! and having a fella who's into Pearl Jam is fuckin great! He's not quite as obsessed with them as i am ;) but he understands when I have Pearl Jam dreams... or Eddie dreams... or when I spend $150 at 10Club or when I cover the walls in tour posters!! He's a real champ!

No I dont know the ladies name but Im sure the boys do... i'll find out for ya.
As for the War Doco.... if someones making it, it will get out to us somehow. Kat and Sea are pretty good with that kinda stuff so im sure they will let us know what they do... if its not from them.. someone round here will have info on it. And if it is about War... Ed will want us all to know about it :)

Hi Trudie, I'm Paul. I fell over to Sydney last year to catch their third show and holy sh*t it blew me away. It was easily the best concert i have evr been too (and thats saying something as I haven't missed a show in NZ yet, especially when the Finn Bro's came on at the end of their first gig and sang three Split Enz songs with them!!!!)

Yeah directions and gig info would be great, I a bit of a Nigel no mates at the moment and going off what you have written they seem like a good covers band, I am pretty harsh on people covering PJ thou. I can't stand it if they don't get it right!

LOL!!! Trudie...You just made me think about something that happened to me last week. Hubby was up in his shed and I'd gone out the back for a quiet ciggy and a coffee.....I ended up sitting there having some wicked thoughts about Ed  and I didn't even hear Glenn (hubby) come back and all I heard was him say "what are you smirking about?" I must have jumped a mile....scared the darkies outta me! I could feel myself blushing and eventually answered and just said that I don't know - didn't realize I was smirking.....no way would he understand....thinks my obsession is a problem already....LOL!

Hey pjsmith! Welcome to the land of Aus!!! Going to a Lost Dogs gig sounds like the perfect ice breaker....great way to make some new friends and the bonus is that they'll have a common interest. Go watch/listen to the vid on their Myspace page....trust me....you'll love it. I think even PJ would be impressed.

I'm staying in Coomera, near Dream World and all those mad places! (I think it's a bit mad with the drought and the water theme parks....) I have a mate coming from NZ that weekend too so that'll be bloody brilliiant! I actually went to the 1st gig in NZ with her! Quite hard case really!
