I just saw the threads about The Gorge CD set ... boooorrriiiing. I want a DVD of the 2006 tour with lots of Australian footage showing all those nice close ups of Eddie talking to the audience at the Sydney 1 and 3. :D
I would like to see Matt trying to throw me his sticks at Sydney 3 cause of my big yellow sign! That would be my favourite dvd.

Damn I got my first erection in 5 years when I saw that announcement...but as usual it was short lived upon discovering it was CDs and NOT DVD's!

I already have The Gorge boots ... they're ok I suppose. I actually find Eddie yelling out to Tom Petty all the time a bit annoying. I can't understand why they chose these shows when the Australian ones were so much better.

    It said
    MATT 'YOU ARE' THE BEST!!
Sad I know, but i'm glad he liked it. The writing was done in silver duct tape cause it was all i could find and it was a rush job while watching The Song Remains The same the night before. It just sits in my bedroom now. At least I wont have to make another one for the next tour. :D

The doggies seem to be enjoying themselves up at the Ingleside shelter so far ... they get taken for heaps of walks, have a secure and warm place to sleep plus plenty of food and the un-neutered one can't stop humping the other one even though they're both males. We're not sure if we're going to give them up for adoption now .. will see what happens.

What's this I hear about you sending aus_suz photos??!! Where are mine?

JIMBO!!!! Where the heck have you been my friend?? Missed ya round these parts :) Good to see your still alive and well :)

    Hey Tig!

Yeah still here, pluggin away, dont actually have too much to report from here.

Bought the Gorge box set (It may be only cd's, but I like the official stuff.)

Was listening to a tape while i was on the toilet today (at home studying) and the tape was from Triple M who knows how long ago.

It was when they used to do a "Battle of the Bands" style comp, pit two bands, ring up and vote for your favourite. Must be AT LEAST 8 years ago or more.

    ANYWAY

The tape was Led Zepplin v Pearl Jam in the final.

    The three songs they played from LZ were;

    - Stairway
    - Houses of the Holy
    - What is and what should not be (or something like that)

    THEN

The three songs they played from PJ were

    - Betterman (cd version)
    - LEAVIN HERE (studio version)
    - Alive (MTV unplugged version)

Not bad for Triple M, but that was over 8 years ago. Thought id share what used to be with MMM

Yeah Suz and I have been exchanging nude shots. I had a wedding in Tas the other week so someone flick me thru their photos. I will email them to you.

Does that Gorge concert you are talking about have a date or was it the only one in Sept?

Poor fella. Yeah my mate is a really smart operator and he is not a happy camper at the mo...finding it terribly hard and reckons they've made him read some irrelevant crap. He also mentioned CA had sent out a heap of wrong materials to everyone?!?!?!

Good luck bud. And your right - another chapter of study outta the way. Let me know how you fare.
