I dont see why they wouldnt say if the LP was different at 10c. The additional selling point is the exclusive 7". The 10c might have variants shipped out at random but the UK etc will be a European pressing with next to no chance of it being anything other than the standard black that will be available at all European retailers.

Looking forward to it! Thank you for getting through the process while also continuing your own projects and charity work. I know it will be worth the wait on our end! Also a nod to Ten Club for all your work.

Looks like 40 pages for the CD, 28 pages for the LP, maybe thats it?

I saw 32 for the cd somewhere else, too. If there really is a different booklet or that was just a typo, who knows

    150g. Pressed at QRP.
  • 3 sides... anyone want to speculate on running time and number of tracks? The 7" for Dance of the Clairvoyants says "edit" so I wonder if it's a long one. A 45 can hold 4.5 minutes per side.

  • Did anyone else get redirected by pearljam.com to universalmusic to preorder the vinyl bundle shortly after the announcement? No matter what I did I couldn’t get to the 10c shop.
So I figured that was how it was with that agreement PJ and universal signed 3-4 years ago.  Now I can buy it directly from 10c. What happened there?
After currency conversion and customs it’s probably the same cost, but why was I being redirected to the universal music website earlier, but now I can preorder from the ten club?

Happy to hear there is a new album coming out!  I can't wait to listen to it!  I ended up ordering the vinyl bundle from 10c because of the exclusive 7''.

Over the years I've seen some cool variants on  PJ vinyl; glow in the dark PJ20, marble Mad Season, and different coloured studio albums. It there are varients of Gigaton, any suggestions how to get one besides hoping to have one mailed randomly from 10C?

Its just my opinion but I think the price tag on the vinyl is a bit excessive. Everywhere in the UK seems to be selling this for £35.

Cant remember the last time I paid this amount for a new 150g 2LP. Just recalling that the Lets Play Two was just under £30 which was excessive on release and now you can pick it up for £12.99.

Pressing vinyl gets more expensive, so the prices go up.

Yes but its like the most expensive new album Ive seen. Dont know of any of my other favourite bands charging so much for their latest releases.

I think the higher price has more to do with the packaging.  The vinyl has 40 pages!!  What record have you ever opened with even half that???

All I am thinking is that it will be thick books, and most of the records will be warped because of it.

The vinyl is 28 pages not 40.  I think the CD is 40.  I really don't think the vinyl will be warped.  They probably know what they're doing with packaging.  To be safe...just keep playing your vinyl ALL the time to keep it out of that book!

Never usually count the pages, is that like a copy of Deep thick? I cant remember :) I couldnt tell you how many Riot Act has but I know Id rather pay less and do without a large booklet. They quite often jam it in with one of the LPs so yeah I can imagine the warped records thread now.

Just to put the money in relation to other records, I can get the Springsteen reissue of The Rising on 2LP for £25 and it will probably drop lower.

How many Gigaton songs do you think PJ will play each set on their NA tour? (Hint: "Gigaton" is not the answer.) How many do you think they should play?

If it’s good, all of them. If it’s bad, the best one only...

I fully expect an amazing album and I hope to hear at least 3 new ones in Nashville.

Yeah definitely. I enjoyed Can't Deny Me live but it's good to have a totally fresh album with all new songs, rather than having to wonder how other songs will fit in around a song you've already heard, if that makes sense.

Oh, man I hope it's more than three (and am pretty sure it will be). I'd be surprised if it was ever fewer than six, and I hope to hear them all over both Oakland shows. I think I saw all but one LB track at the two L.A. shows I saw in 2013.

Forgot all about that when I first saw this list. Wasn’t a fan of it, so good call PJ.
