Can I just say how great it is every day to come to this board and get excited about tour! The wait is sometimes the best parts. Each day I check email first thing in the morning and then visit this site 8-10 times a day lol.

Hoping that there are a few shows closer than Toronto or Hamilton for me...that's a bit of a drive from the Maritimes. My strategy will be to try for the 2 most Eastern Canadian shows...hopefully Ottawa and Québec City haha! Super bummed that Montreal is not in the cards...so many good memories from shows there. The crowd response to the Vedder solo shows in '08 was insane!
Skipping Montreal strikes me as odd as well: a great city with a passionate fan base. Though a QC show would be much better for you, no?

(Love the username - last night I watched The Hip's final show for the umpteenth time and still got chills during that song.)
Cant believe it's well over 2 years. Gord sounds so alive on those Hip records.

Holy fuck if they break out a Hip song in Canada. That is going to be a fuck loud moment if that ever happens.

I would assume Montreal and Quebec City has to be pretty much the same crowd too wouldn't it be? On a Sunday night I would imagine a lot of people are going to make that trip.

I'm thinking it must be a logistics / booking issue that couldn't be helped, because it's always a great crowd. Also Montreal is a fantastic city to visit. Haha thanks, LOVE to play that song on guitar. I miss them terribly already...they obviously played a ton on the East Coast leg of their tours, saw them many times over the years.

I will surely do the trip. Sugar shack with family booked at 11am near Montreal, then 2 hour drive to Qc, stomach full and ready to absorb another gem like the May 2016 concert they gave us. Weather permitting, I'll extend the trip on Monday with some ski (hopefully Spring skiing, but who knows at that time of year...).

    Maybe something like this:

    Toronto 3/18
    Ottawa or Quebec City 3/20
    Ottawa or Quebec City 3/22
    Hamilton 3/24
    Baltimore 3/28
    NYC 3/30
    sirius xm show ??
    Nashville 4/2
    St. Louis 4/4
    Denver 4/6
    OKC 4/8
    Phoenix 4/11
    San Diego 4/13
    LA Forum 4/15
    LA Forum 4/16
    Oakland 4/19
    Oakland 4/20

Feel like they wouldn’t play 4 shows in 5 nights to close.  This ain’t the 90’s.
They did 4 shows in 5 nights in 2016. They did the 2 Philly shows, a day off, then the 2 MSG shows. It's probably not a coincidence that the 2nd MSG show (the last of those 4 shows in 5 nights) was the shortest show of the tour.

what's the consensus on the venue for the rumored 3/30 NYC show? MSG is hosting the NCAA Elite Eight on 3/29 (day and night) and the NCAA NIT Final Four on 3/31. I know crazier transformations have happened there, just seems a little wild to deconstruct the entire basketball tournament set up for one day just to put it back up again. Barclays is out given the Nets have a home game that date. What other venues are in play?
    '98: MSG, 9/10
    '00: Jones Beach, 8/24
    '00: Camden, 9/02
    '03: Camden, 7/06
    '06: Hartford, 5/13
    '08: MSG, 6/24
    '08: MSG, 6/25
    '10: Hartford, 5/15
    '10: MSG, 5/20
    '13: Barclays, 10/18
    '16: MSG, 5/02
    '16: Fenway 2, 8/07
    '18: Wrigley 1, 8/18

MSG does that kind of break down every other day.
