Nah, he wrote on the plastic protective cover of the Boss album. What I didn’t really like was that he wrote on the Nirvana In Utero. That bad boy is still sealed and mint. The 2009 limited edition Pallas Press. Plastic is just coming off the spine but it’s never been opened. Now I’ve got to try to wash that black marker ink off 😂mrussel1 said:Did someone write their name on your Darkness?? I hate that shit. Damn 70s. My best original copy of Exile has "Lewis" written on every record.

Lighter fluid often works well too. On some surfaces, Citrasolv is even better but be really careful and just try it. If you try using Citrasolv, just try a tiny bit on a corner-- and what ever you do, keep the stuff away from the vinyl or any plastic- it melts many plastics!

Finally listened to two albums I've had on the shelf and they were Gary Clark jr 2016 live. I saw him do a little show at the Apollo and he sounded NOTHING likethis album. Man I wish he played like that at my show.
Other album is the TMR Best of The Blues compilation. This is a fantastic record. Highly recommended.0 -

I bought them both and when I listened to them I realised how much of TP&HB music I didn't care for. I figured I would find a bunch of gems that I would enjoy and that was completely the opposite.mrussel1 said:

The live anthology is fantastic. But for something with a smaller investment, try Kiss My Amps vol2. Vol 1 is very expensive.mickeyrat said:tempo_n_groove said:

Chris Bellman mastered all of these. One thing you won't quibble with is the quality.mickeyrat said:

Visited a little record store today here in Calgary .... had everything in the store for 30% off. Grabbed a few:
New York Dolls - Netherlands Reissue (VG+)
Sex Pistols - Never Mind the Bollocks - 1982 Columbia House reissue (Mint)
Nirvana Insecticide - 2017 Double LP (Sealed Mint).
And the kicker:
Pearl Jam - Live on Ten Legs - #08367 (Sealed Mint). All of that was $225 CDN ($175US). They didn’t know what they had with Ten Legs. Sticker price was $119.00. Got it for $90.00 CDN. I had to get out of there lol.0 -

Like someone else mentioned on here, Live Anthology takes, what the band thought, were the BEST performances of those songs throughout the years.mickeyrat said:tempo_n_groove said:

Also they do have almost every show taped so they could go the Grateful Dead route and release shows from out the years.
Lastly, I was hoping to find some songs that I could enjoy but it just wasn't for me, so I spent a ton of money on the box sets. Maybe I'll revisit them, who knows.0 -

I'm waiting for the world famous 1997 show, the last one from the Fillmore run to be released on vinyl. I have a great soundboard of it, but I know they have the multi track because a few songs from the show ended up on the live Anthology. It might be the best concert I've ever heard in my life. He plays his stuff in different ways, and does about 10 phenomenal covers. I think the show is about 40 tracks in all. If anyone ever wants it in FLAC, let me know. I share it freely since it is an unofficial radio broadcast.tempo_n_groove said:
