    I admit. I love Taylor Swift’s music. Eilish, I’m still trying to get. Lizzo has catchy songs. Not really my thing but catchy.

    Whatever it is it suits the tunes.  Rappers talk.  Some rock singers just shout.  Thom Yorke does a mixture of whispering and crooning.  I dont need every artist to go full out Michael Bolton :lol:   Whatever works.  Its different

    I don't care if it's in the top 40 charts, as long as it good and honest and written by the acts themselves.
    Not some manufactured shallow garbage.

    Eh, even those writing songs are honest musicians. Sad they aren’t marketable, but a jam is a jam.

    There’s such a thing as shit rock too.  Who cares what the genre is or if it’s mainstream?  I felt these records were very good.

    Thats one reason why i like the kid.  Eilish is writing every tune with her brother. They’re a songwriting duo and a live duo.  The label isnt forcing the industry hit writers on her.  Is she getting major marketing and radio push from her label?  Of course.  Just like every other artist who ever sold a million records
