Give me a time machine and put these guys together (all players I have seen, some many times):

    Infielders:
    1B- Willie McCovey
    2B- Jeff Kent
    SS- José Uribe
    3B- Jim Davenport

    Outfielders
    LF- Kevin Mitchell
    CF- WIllie Mays
    RF- Filipe Alou

    C- Dick Dietz

    Pitchers:
    Ace Starter- Juan Marichal
    Middle Reliever- Stu Miller
    Closer- Randy Moffitt

    DH (if you feel inclined)
    No DH nonsense!

good to see no one’s being objective and just picking their favorite teams. mine would be all Giants.
Then let us know who your all-time Giants team would be!
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

    Stop it.  Stop!!!

Yes, too soon.  None of them ever donned an Expos uniform.

You left off Robles and Turner too...

I'm liking the "All-Time Team" that are not on your favorite team.  Here would be mine.  I'm sticking to players I've seen in my generation.
    • Catcher: Pudge Rodriguez
    • First Base: Todd Helton
    • Second Base: Roberto Alomar
    • Shortstop: Cal Ripken Jr.
    • Third Base: Chipper Jones
    • Left Field: Kirby Puckett
    • Center Field: Ken Griffey Jr.
    • Right Field: Vlad Guerrero Sr.
    • DH: Frank Thomas
    • Ace: Pedro Martinez
    • Middle Relief: Andrew Miller
    • Setup Man: Dennis Eckersley
    • Closer: Mariano Rivera
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

I mentioned Vladdy was hard to pass on but had to pick the Canadian from Maple Ridge BC!
Randy J was better after traded and it was Pedro vs El Presidente.... tough call but you win when you pitch a perfect game 👍

In my mind... the Expos won the World Series. 😎
But I wanted the list to be of the Expos as I remember them. Got robbed of a title in ‘94 anyway.

I remember Delgado as more of a horrible 1st basemen who could hit.  I wasn’t really a big fan of his to be honest.
EE was electric man... the parrot and all that. Just a lot of fun. Good times.

Absolutely!  Edwin is a beast man.

I'm curious as to where Clemens is?  He won 2 Cy Youngs when he played for you!

Once again, TOUGH decision on the starter with the Jays.  Dave Steib, Clemens, Cone, Hentgen, Clancy, Wells
Halladay got my vote because he stuck it out during the lean years and tried to help turn it around... but it was a smidge over Steib.
Clemens would be third for me.

I knew that. Sports is all about debate.  Halladay was awesome on BAD teams. If I had to pick one... it’s Halladay.
    RIP Roy.

Cubs fans need to get over their misguided hatred of Strop.  He's the best reliever we've had in probably the history of the franchise.
Alou is not even close to being on an all-time Cub team.

Well I will respectfully disagree about Strop. And Alou in his prime was one of the better pure hitters in baseball. Not necessarily an all time great cub because of his time spent in Montreal and Florida, but take his best years collectively and he’s a guy Id assemble a team with. That said, I left him off my team.

Numbers don't lie, my friend.  Strop has been a boss. Yeah, he sucked this year, but his Cub career is incredible. And to think we got him and Arrieta for two nobodies.  We won that deal by a loooooooooooong shot.
