I remember Delgado as more of a horrible 1st basemen who could hit. I wasn’t really a big fan of his to be honest.cdthomas1981 said:

I'm curious as to where Clemens is? He won 2 Cy Youngs when he played for you!0 -
Once again, TOUGH decision on the starter with the Jays. Dave Steib, Clemens, Cone, Hentgen, Clancy, Wellstempo_n_groove said:

Halladay got my vote because he stuck it out during the lean years and tried to help turn it around... but it was a smidge over Steib.Clemens would be third for me.0 -

I knew that. Sports is all about debate. Halladay was awesome on BAD teams. If I had to pick one... it’s Halladay.tempo_n_groove said:

Cubs fans need to get over their misguided hatred of Strop. He's the best reliever we've had in probably the history of the franchise.bbiggs said:

Well I will respectfully disagree about Strop. And Alou in his prime was one of the better pure hitters in baseball. Not necessarily an all time great cub because of his time spent in Montreal and Florida, but take his best years collectively and he’s a guy Id assemble a team with. That said, I left him off my team.HesCalledDyer said:

Numbers don't lie, my friend. Strop has been a boss. Yeah, he sucked this year, but his Cub career is incredible. And to think we got him and Arrieta for two nobodies. We won that deal by a loooooooooooong shot.bbiggs said:
