    I get the feeling this whole thing is not going well.  I don't see it happening.  I believe the best thing we can hope for is a good, strong Dem in 2020 to beat Trump.  That's where I would focus the energy.

    I have the same feeling. It has nothing to do with right or wrong and EVERYTHING to do with sticking with the republican party. How do senators continue to make comments about not even watching the hearings. They do it in a matter of fact tone that their decision is already made up...without watching them. This is a freaking joke.

    Senate will need to pay attention during the trial when the case is presented, not necessarily during the hearings in the house. They are supposed to be working. I do think, though, they should be saying we will wait to see whats presented before passing judgement. They are after all the jurors in the case.
