    Also interesting...is that Barr's subpoenas on Giuliani's business? Are they looking for dirt to prevent Giuliani from exposing what he says his insurance is...from being thrown under the bus? Do they need a bigger bus?

    Thank you. Anything investigators look at should yield results proving criminal activity since the criminals think there isn't a law they need to follow. How many are already in jail...proving that point.

    Ruling is in on McGahn.  I'm sure it will go to SCOTUS, so not sure anything is actually solved.  The SCOTUS could decline to hear it though.

The original ruling, which is continuously upheld, identified national security as a reason where someone may not be compelled to testify.  However, I would think a closed door initial depo would overcome that.  However, Kupperman's attorney has also argued that McGahn's case may not be binding to his because of the national security angle.

    right. but it seems to me for purposes of the impeachment inquiry, specifically Boltons knowledge of any of this Ukraine business,  is outside the scope of actual national security implications.....

Unsure what time I am off thursday morning( trucker, dont expect to be busy but still the freight thats in the system takes the time it takes to move to its destination) , will only get 3 or so hours sleep in the morning then will drive 4 hours one way to have dinner with a house full of folks I dont know.

    Didn't the wording of McGahn's lawyer's statement indicate that he might testify sooner than later though? Something about the court issuing a "stay?"
