    Argh, thanks for the correction, Matt. My brain lacked sufficient coffee this morning, and I somehow conflated them. As Emily Litella would say "Nevermind". I understand your point about Kennedy perhaps not knowing Kavanaugh was a drunkard and a p*ssy-grabber, but he had to know Kavanaugh was a political operative, and promoted expansion of presidential powers. Given the current occupant of the Oval Office those attributes would not helpful to the health of the nation.

    Yes im sure he knew the extent of his views on executive power.  I agree with that.  

    Regarding Roberts,  he still has some goodwill from me over Obamacare. Im not sure there is much for the chief to do in the impeachment trial though.  It'll be interesting and historic either way.

    I would expect nothing less than that response from Graham. He is the epitome of what is wrong with politics. He has made it abundantly clear that he wasn't busy watching any impeachment hearings. Perhaps it would not have killed him to spend maybe 2-3 more minutes with this soldier. 

    I feel like the fog they live in resembles the fog within the portal at the end of the last season of 'Stranger Things'. And those of us that watched saw where that portal takes people. Perhaps the show is an analogy for the current administration.
