    i've been wondering.....doesn't the AG need to be the one to levy charges of obstruction for not honoring subpoenas from congress? or if he's not the charging officer, he can squash them, can't he? so that's another piece of the sham puzzle. barr will never charge any of these corrupt fucks nor will he let any charges stand.

    Yes, it's a federal charge.  But the statute of limitations would likely survive to the next administration.  But I wouldn't expect anyone to charge.  What's really important is that the court weighs in on the limits of executive privilege.  That case is under review and supposed to be decided on 12/10.  That's the Don McGahn issue.

    I do not believe Capitol Police can file charges.  There is no prosecuting authority other than the DOJ for federal charges.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I'm right.
